engine problem..need some help

I just bought a 97 with red top sr and having some problems.

1. In order to start the car I sometimes need to give it gas to turn over.

2. Iddles rough, but only sometimes.

3. When comming to a stop it dies on me about half of the time.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreiciated.

could be ur timing is jacked, vac. or turbo leak etc.
