I had the same problem. Try seeing if there is oil on you spark plugs. I also had that problem with a stock maf.WHen I upgraded it was just fine. Also do you have a 5,500 rev limiter in the btm?

i pretty sure it doesnt have a 5500 rev limiter on the btm because i got it from Craving4Boost. unless he put a 5k rev limit pill in there...!?!

Mine has the little chip that you can change. I have mine a 7000.
