i just bought a 92' vert. very pretty car. it's white with black leather. all new leather and carpet. all is wrong is that i can tell it was painted recently, they did a good job, but there is no rear "240sx" or "nissan" on the back anymore. i need to know where i can get those. also the pillars on the doors are missing those nissan emblems, where can i get those? i will take some pics of my car soon and post them. i also need to replace the dash its cracking up, and i need a new front emblem because the one in there is dull and not shiney. my wheels could sure use a new finish, is there a way that i can get them cleaned and refinished or should i just buy new ones? thanks guys.

check online for the emblems, possibly even ebay. as for the wheels depending if you want to spend the money go get some new wheels. if not either spray paint your stockers or get them powdercoated.

well spray painting is alot cheaper then powdercoating your wheels. they make special paint for wheels. Powder coating is a more precise way to cover objects and surfaces. In many cases, materials demand a tough protective coating that is extremely uniform in thickness and consistency. Only powder coatings can achieve this due to the way in which they are applied. Powder coating utilizes electrostatic principles because they are uniform.

The process begins by electrically charging very fine particles of resin and pigment. The particles are sprayed onto the object to be coated. The object is grounded to prevent unwanted charges from interfering with the coating process. The particles adhere to the surface of the object, which is then heated in a curing oven. As the particles melt, they spread evenly over the surface of the object, filling in the tiniest spaces. The coating is hard, tough, fade-resistant and durable. it can also be done in various colors. red, blue, bronze, gunmetal. etc

yeah... let's see some pics buddy!

I don't have a clue about the cost of powder coating, but I would recommend new wheels. They are the single greatest cosmetic (and performace too) upgrade you can do.. .in my opinion.

Check out the Nico Classifieds section for wheels. You should be able to find a nice set of wheels for around $500 shipped. It depends on what you are after though...

Heck, I've got some I would like to sell if you are interested.

You can add fog lights pretty easily. Find a set at your local car parts store. Install them on the front of your car and wire them up... No big deal.

As for Heads Up Display... never sold on the 'vert. You would need the special HUD dash plus gauges. I'm not sure if any modification would be needed to the transmission speed sensor, ecu, or other parts? You could use the search button (top right on your NICO page) to search for HUD install or HUD conversion, or something like that. It would be pretty cool to see in a 'vert.

Anyhow... Welcome to NICO! Glad to have you here!

i've installed the aftermarket fog lights plenty of times on my past cars. i used to have a 92' prelude Si that i absolutely loved just like i love this vert i have now. anyway, i was looking more towards adding factory fog lights to my vert. i thought all the verts came with the fog lights......

Mossy Nissan in San Diego (actually Oceanside), California can get the "Nissan", "240sx" and "SE" stickers for the rear of your 'vert. This was verified for me just about 2 weeks ago.

Greg Vogel is the parts manager there, and has a wicked turbo B13. He gets it.

Hit http://www.mossyperformance.com and get the toll-free number from there. When you order, tell Greg Vogel that you were referred by me. It might save you a buck, might not.

powdercoating wheels can be from 50 bucks and up depending on the job. i've never had it done but i know when you get them done they look bad ***. as for the HUD i Read on the 1993 vert owners manual is was an option. i think you would be better off just buying a defi HUD its like a 100 bucks and change i believe.
