Yeah I think I'm just going to go with an electrical one from http://www.dmhperformance.com/
I like how the space the electronics out from the exhaust to keep them somewhat cool, 4 year warranty, and the price is right.

I'll take pics of the install and whatnot when I get it.
It would be nice if I could tap into that switch to send a signal to the ECU to trigger an alternate map too, but that might be a pipe dream, especially considering the most benefit would come from that coupled with an electronic boost controller (to trigger overtake boost)... and I'm using a manual boost controller.

Sweet idea: Run the cutout exhaust next to the regular exhaust, and go dual-tip out the back.

Just don't do something like this:

And I still agree you could save big money if you just made a free-flowing, quiet exhaust from the beginning.

This was $200... and I get to keep my cat. This is going to weld right into my downpipe, and just dump right there... no pipes coming off of it or anything. If I so choose, the entire thing is completely reversible. I can unbolt my downpipe and turbo junk, and just re-bolt the factory manifold/header and front pipe.

the picture charlieo posted is essentially what i have but mine are ran out to 6 inches from the side skirts of my car and then dumped.Ive contemplated putting a small resonator or cat in there but it just sounds so badass being straight piped.Theres nothing like the sound a WOT straight piped supercharged european 6 cylinder.
