What does those do? is it to have the ride even firmer? because I don't think I'd like the feeling...johnny_d wrote:I just went to their site and looked up the Coupe again and it seemed that they have the springs made for the Coupe already

Eicbach Pro-Kit springs, in my opinion, are THE best springs out on the market. They are progressive rate springs which were made specifically to work with or without your stock suspension. They lower the car 1 inch, reducing that fugly fender gap, and it stiffens it up a little, giving your car a more "BMW" tight, sporty type of ride. It really does help reduce body roll in hard turns. I've ran these in the past and loved them to death. The ride is much more comfortable than any other springs on the market. I've been wanting to order them for my car for quite some time, but I can't justify spending $85 for shipping to Hawaiimcheddadi wrote:

I feel the 3.5SE's springs are the perfect balance of performance vs comfort.
1 inch drop and yes, you can run your stockers with no prob.razah9 wrote:With the pro-kit I can keep my stock shocks right? Also anyoneknow how much of a drop they are?
From past experiences with Eibach, Pro-Kit is usually always a 1 inch drop. Sportline's usually run 1.5"-1.6".SHIFT_COUPE wrote:Just talked to Eibach. These aren't available for the Coupe until December approximately. The rep said they are in "development status" and couldn't tell me any other specs on them, as in specific drop amount.
1. I don't know what laws they have in Canada pertaining to suspension modifications but there are no such issues here in the states. Don't see how it could be "illegal".chow wrote:Few questions for you guys..
1) Is it legal to drop your car? I remeber asking the dealer and he said that it would lower your bumper and make it unsafe. He also said if u get pulled over you can get ticketed with it.
2) The drop height is 1 inch, that seems a bit too much for me.. You can drop it .5 or any other height right?
3) With a 1 inch drop, im assuming speed bumps, cement parking bumpers and etc are all going to be dangerous now.. Is this true? And how much do they normally run for?
... Im thinking of lowereing the car but dont want to rice the car out.. ie.. 1 cm from the floor.. looks cool and all but when you meet cement.. its not cool anymore..
All laws differ from state to state and county to county. I was a Sheriff's Deputy prior to my current career and let me tell you this...not many of the guys on the force can tell the difference between a stock suspension and a 1 inch drop. I ran Pro-Kit's and everyone would ask me why my old car looked much better than the normal SE-R. They couldn't figure it out until I told them it was dropped 1 inch.johnny_d wrote:I was googling the other day and I read that as long as the lowest point on your body/frame is not lower than the bottom of your rims then you're ok. So basically the lowest ground clearance you can have is the thickness of your tires. Otherwise be prepared to get pulled over.
Are they going to be available for the 2.5S as well?generic808 wrote:

I HATE adding only springs to a car. Yes, it lowers it, but eventually your struts will get noisy and blow. Every car I've driven on springs only doesn't feel tighter, it feels bouncier. The spring rate might be stiffer, but the shocks are made for a certain height/rate, and don't react well over time to lowering.generic808 wrote:

Uhmm...I don't think you've ever ridden on Pro-Kit's then. Trust me, they are the closest you'll get to stock while tightening up your ride and enhancing asthetics. It will not get "noisy and blow" out your struts!! I ran them on my SE-R for over 58K and the guy who bought the car from me had it for years after. It's not a bouncy ride at all, believe me. I swear by these springs and will add them to my car once I find a better shipping option.nissantech06 wrote:

'05 Murano, 15,000 on Eibach Pro-Kit Springs...two noisy front struts. It's owned by one of our sales guys. Not saying that it would be ALL bad, maybe I shouldn't have assumed that (sorry!) but since Nissan has known problems with struts I wouldn't recommend it.generic808 wrote:

You can't judge every spring the same. Pro-Kit was original designed to be used with you stock suspension. TEIN and H&R are good springs, but that's what you call bouncy! And so are the sportlines.
They're something like $229 at stillen.com and I believe that's the cheapest online. That's for the sedan though, I don't know when the coupe's will be released. Professional installation at a speed shop should run around $150-$200.EzeebMOS3 wrote:Hey guys, im very interested in getting my hands on a these springs. Do you guys have any information that could help me find them online, and how much they are as well as what you think the installation cost would be. thanks
Void. We won't cover the sales guy's Murano.KayaVibration wrote:Hey Tech,
How do they affect the 100,000 extended warrenty I have?
What's voided though? Not the WHOLE warranty right? Just the warranty part that covers shock/springs/struts all that right?nissantech06 wrote:

I fully agree with this man...I had em on my altima and no complaints, only mad love for the eibach prokit...generic808 wrote:

Thanks! It took me forever and half to find those wheels and now I couldn't be more happy!! And finally, someone who will back me up with the Pro-Kit's. They are, by far, the best springs out! Hey lil_z, are you running them on your suby?lil_z_33 wrote:
