well if its just the bpt valve, ur stoked cuz they can be had for about 50-60 bux depending on who makes it. & if you do find out that your egr valve is fubar as well, i have a used one i could sell you for like 65 bux shipped. i bought a new one thinking that the egr was bad, but when i was removing it i found that the hose from the bpt to the egr was almost completely disintegrated. that was the hard lesson learned, not to throw parts @ my car w/out inspecting or diagnosing it first
yea man thats true haha. ill try to check everything first, check the BPT, EGR solenoid, and wiring to make sure whats faulty and whats not. especially now that i dont have a job. i gotta be careful with spending. that great to stuff. ill keep checking, just need tools haha

Mike I have worked on a lot of nissans and never had a EGR temp sensor go bad. The back pressure transducer is bad about 99% of the time. I have only replaced (1) EGR vave that was bad. Most common problems are vacuum leaks, and BPTV.

^^^ i second this. unlikely the sensor went bad. the BPTV and the hose connecting the BPT and egr go out all the time

sorry to bring this back from the dead, but what ultimately happened Mike? How did you fix it and what was wrong? I'm having the same problems right now, the other day I installed another EGR valve and still failed the smog test (FU CA smog laws!). Mine's also throwing up the 32 and 34 codes.
