That's awesome...

Hopefully the parents learned a valuable lesson too... don't leave your damn kids home alone if they aren't trustworthy. Fool the 'rents once, shame on you... fool them twice... they aren't fit to be parents!

Sounds like these parents mean business... cudos!

On behalf of me and my two co workers tonight....

HOLY ****!!!! That rocks.

And I agree 100% with Hitman. A leather belt works wonders. I turned out fine and interfaced with a belt on a few occasions.

But they did say he was 6'3. And the booze alone is worth a punch in the mouth.

EDIT: "shank him with it" Now thats funny. 1der yours is pretty good too.

Am I the only one that got that?

I'm *sure* I'm not the only one that got severe ***-whoopins when I was little.

You would think he would stay out of trouble since he apparently plays his PS2 all the time. If my kids want alcohol, they're gonna have to buy it themselves. My booze are off limits! :P

nope.. I had multiple and repeated assaults with belts, fly swats, racquet ball paddles, lamp cords, and SWITCHES!!! OMFG those were the WURST!! little bastard's mom hsould do what mine did... make HIM go outside and pick one off of the bush in the yard (they're in Arkansas, they know what I'm talking about) and if it's not to her liking, she'll go pick a BAD-AZZ one and beat him withing an inch of his life.. or at least make HIM think so ;p

FEAR THE SWITCH!!!!and no; I'm not bitter or harboring any repressed emotions from my azz-beatings.. I deserved them ALL and probably an order of magnitude more :-)

it wasnt poor parenting it was poor desicion making on my part

parents just have to instill morals in kids, punishment is only half the solution

I agree. Punisment is ony half of it. The other half is setting a good example.

Iwas fine as a child, as long as the parents kept beating me. ABut once I reached 6'-2", they stopped, and then I started getting in trouble.

AH, the good old days of raw buts, and burning cheeks.

I guess I will just have to put up wit hthe wife's beatings. Only, she doesn't hit hard enough.

For those concerned, I am just KIDDING!:D

I'm not kidding about this:My kids, if any, will stay in line. I'm not putting up with the bs my brother gives my mom from my kids. (That boy needs to be put in his place. Quickly.)

Yes, I was "punished" growing up, and sometimes is was with anything my parents had close at hand. I guess the worst was either a hairbrush, or one of those wire hangers. Most of the time, I deserved everyting I got. But sometimes I was the recipient of my parent's venting.

I had a lot of respect for my parents, and stayed in line, for the most part, up until they divorced. I then lost respect for them. It took about 15 years for me to re-gain that respect. I had a lot of growing up to do. It's kinda funny, divorce steals the childhood from your children, and it takes them 3 times as long to mature.

If I had kids, today, I would definitely not "spare the rod" like some do. Punishment is necessary, just don't do it when you are angry - it can be misunderstood.

There is also a point, where punishment needs to turn to other things than whippings. Like taking away the cell phone, or internet connection, or even the Playstation.

Yeah, it's too bad, she didn't get enough to cover the wine and the beer.
