My S14 SR came in with distorted oil pan. Do you recommend Ebay oil pan? I can't afford a $200 Greedy oil pan. Should I just get the OEM one? Where do you guys get a good oil pan from?

Thanks.

If you got the motor out, then you can shoot for the ebay one. The holes won't always line up with those ebay ones. Sometimes, when putting in the bolts, the soft aluminum upper pan will also give out and you'll be shafted with a retapping. Hence why I'd say you can go ebay oil pan if you've got the motor out. If the motor's in, go with the greddy. Better fitment and casting. If the greddy one is out of the budget, get a stock replacement instead of that ebay junk if your motor is already in.

I got an ebay pan, it fit perfectly. Only my SOHC powersteering lines were in the way, but i had to remove and mod those anyway. All holes lined up, and with my gradual torqung procedure i didnt have any stripped bolts or leaks. Big and shiney, holds almost 5qts of oil now.

I was looking at getting one of those, I wonder how much oil my SR would take then, it allready takes 5 quarts due to the oil cooler.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm getting one also. The OEM one is $70. May as well spend a bit more to get a bigger one. Which Ebay seller btw? There are a couple of those selling similar stuff.

i hear those ebay pans either dont have any trap doors or they dont move(stuck). still, you are really only paying for the extra capacity.
