from what I know its not,just because of different bolt pattern and location, just get the one for a s13 and it would be bolt on.

No, because they are illegal for on road use. To get a test pipe get one from ebay lol. Or take it to a muffler shop and get an actual cat bolted on. I'd say get an actual cat, seeing as you are in California a test pipe is like 100x more illegal than in any other state.

Get a hi-flow cat. It will provide much better flow and will keep your car from sounding like a fart-can.

And yeah, test/straight pipes are illegal for smog which is VERY important in CA. A high-flow cat isn't and will keep you legal.

ha yea. i get my exhaust stuff done locally. they dont give a **** about emissions and if i pay cash theres no paper trail. its kind of a "dont ask dont tell" kind of thing with most shops

Just like to let you know, I got my exhaust off ebay also and mine came with a test pipe. FYI If you dont have a turbo then your exhaust is going to sound like $h!t. I went and got a new cat and it toned it down and sounds a lot better then what it did. It gets so loud that it vibrates things in the car and really sounds like a loud fart can. Just get a Cat. you will be happier with the sound.

it looks fine with me it sucks your stock cat is welded to the stock exhaust. either get a new cat or a test pipe and you should be gold.

haha screw the test pipe then! i have no plans of going turbo anytime soon. how much would a high-flow cat run me? 200ish, right? or would it be too much of a hassle to try and use my old cat? are those little bracket things available to be bought and welded on or something?
