Doesnt Zenki refer to all older model 240's, either S13 or S14.So that is a Zenki cause its a older model S13(pignose). Somebody please correct me if Im wrong. I dont think Zenki only refers to the S14's

In Japan, there was a third version of the S13 called the "type X" or the 180SX Kouki that had a front bumper that looked different. It's production ran all the way till 1998 or 1999. Pretty amazing for the 'ol girl, huh?

Zenki: (meaning "early")

Chuki: (meaning "middle")

Kouki: (meaning "late")

They aren't nicknames and the aren't just for S-chassis cars. As someone said Zenki=Early, Chuki=Middle, and Kouki=Late. This can be applied to any car.

No, because the s15 was a new car that was different enough from the s14 that it was a new model.

Altezza's are huge on 180sx's in japan...remember,we do the JDM thing, they do the spocom thing. What we call rice is slowly (maybe not so slowly...) becoming the big thing in japan, so those "ricer boys" are onto something...and it's coming around to bite us
