Anyone have any interest in doing a meet up? I haven't hear any chatter about this in a while. I am located in south NJ. Anyone else up for a meet up soon?

I'm in the Midwest, and I'll be travelling to the east coast soon. I'd really be interested and would drive if this goes thru.

Used to do one in Jersey every year but one of the key members (Freddie) moved to FL and now laughs at all of us Nor'Easterners on Facebook and brags about FL every chance he gets. lol.

Ilya is getting married???
Oh boy!

Maybe we can combine Ilya's wedding with an east coast meet?
We can provide all white M's for the wedding party.....
and instead of the reception afterwards, we can hold an East coast meet,
with Ilya & bride as our hosts!
We can serve sake & sushi at the event...any other ideas?

dam i like that idea. :D

i didn't know Freddie moved. great guy and i should've made more effort to meet the dude when he was hosting the meet.

Another idea instead of a meet is a drive/cruise and lunch afterward; but that requires more planning.

Is anyone in south and central NJ? Maybe we can try to arrange a small meetup first, the work on something larger?

Wait a damn minute, don't get all negative on us already. This is your best chance of a meet so far, lol.

I was told that if I ever stood at an altar to get married, then I have to realize the wedding belongs to the bride (and to a great extent my future mother-in-law); I am just an attendant to fulfill a fantasy and take photos.

With that wisdom in mind, Ilya could you consult with the missus? Does the boss mind having a few of your friends (just go with it, hehe) present?
We don't even need to be fed, just cruise with you one last time like a bachelor party, knowing your days of modifying your car all willy-nilly are over.

But AHA! My future missus is all about my hobbies...I snagged the best one of them all. Goes to sporting events with me, LOVES my motorcycle, etc. :). She even wants me to make a YouTube and translate all my written HowTo's into HowTo videos...and the monetize it ahahah.

That's great that you share some interests with her. Godspeed in your matrimonial life.

On YouTube, why not? I do post some videos on the platform. Some of my most-viewed ones have been the ones I make on a whim with little production finesse, but stuff that you just can't quite find in a FSM. I could probably do better and market myself in other ways to try and gain more money/subscribers/views/likes, but life is hectic enough as is so I focus on my career.

Back on topic, anyone else want to meet? Where are you East Coast people located?

I am in Jacksonville Fl, which seems way south of most of the people that have responded, I would love to meet up but it would need to be local to me as with my disabled sons and other issues getting away is always difficult.

Oh and yes Youtube I have some video's up but nothing that really meant to make money just a few things here and there and a way to share with friends and family stuff.
But I did recently get my stock 215K miles M45 on the dyno I got approx 222 HP and 257 torque. However I don't know how accurate it is as the transmission would not lock into gear when you stepped on the throttle it just down shifted even when you had it in manual mode.
I tried posting the youtube embedded but for what ever reason it wasn't doing it so here is the link instead

I'd love to attend a meet. Depends on my schedule (I work a lot of weekends) but I'd make an effort to go for sure. Also FL. Bout an hour south of Jacksonville.

I want to try and set up a meet for Midwestern folks. I see it including the new generation M/Q70 owners for the sake of numbers.
There was a video I saw of a meet like that in Japan. It was beautiful to see so many Ms in one place. Too bad I can't locate it any more.

Freddie, any pointers on setting up these things?

I did it 4yrs in a row with Robert from NY and I can tell you it's a lot of work. Last meet was 10am to 6pm. We still had food for about 50 people more
