well i was wondering why don't poeple use e60 instead of the n60's? they come on the rb25's nissan r33 gtr's and are also in the later maximas i got one off of a 96 maxima. the wires are so much easier to hook up than the n60's. there only 3 wiress instead of 5 or so on the n60's. well i got one and hooked it up and ran perfect. they supposidly max out at 350hp so i'm good for my applications. the e60 is hw4 and the stock ka maf is hw5 so the in and out settings are 4 in and 5 out. for hot wire. the car ran great after the install. idled arround 800 cold start.

the wires are :white to whiteblack to blackred to black/white

and thats it!

cost me 40 bucks at a slavage yard.

now i did have the air flow on my safc read up to 40% in nuetral reving it up to the redline. while with the stock one it only read up to around 18%. i guess this is from the increase ability of the e60 to sense air? if anyone knows anything about that or if i should worry about it give me a holla

hope this helps any one out looking to install one of these.

Hmmm this might seem like a cheaper solution possibly for cheap KA-T setups. Do you know how close it is to the n60 output?

by output you mean "hp max reading"? it's 350hp so i herd from this forum

zerothread?id=272909

i mean it's from the same car and it's newer. and it's also in a rb25 so thier really no difference between the n60 and the e60 besides that its newer and much easier to install.

Any MAF that is cheap and is an upgrade to the stock unit is a good option. As far as the E60 being easier, I'd say that's a matter of opinion. My personal opinion on that matter is this, if you can't wire the N62 MAF to a 240sx then you need to not bother running a turbo at all. I don't know where all the confusion comes from when referring to the N62...it's simple.

I agree. What's hard about wiring the n60/2 mafs?
