E60 MAF???

i have come across an E60 MAF. can i use this as an upgrade for my sr20det motor. if so what are the specs of this MAF??

Whats the serial number on it?

Should look like 22680-*****

22680-3IU00 A36-608 E60

its a pink label maf. im pretty sure it is off the J30, I30 and Maxima

and that is a uppercase "u" after the 3I. just to make it clear, kinda looks like a uppercase "v"

Yeah that MAFS also came on R33 Skylines with RB25's. It is good for about 300-350 hp, its advantage is that it reads metered air better than the Z32 supposedly.

You can use it as an upgrade but you need something to convert the voltage signal.

how would i do that? or do you mean the connecting of the pig tail to the sr20det pig tail wires?

does anyone know the wire diagram for the stock sr20det MAF and the E60 MAF? both are three pin connections.

To use a different MAFS on an SR ECU you need something like an ApexI SAFC or HKS AFR, or a standalone.

Here are the pinouts for the two MAFS.

Use the S15 SR pinout as your guide for the SR MAFS. Use the later ECR33 pinout for the Maxima MAFS. Just match the colored boxes.

DOES ANY1 KNOW how 2 set safc2 for this e60 maf? i think the z32 maf setting for the sr with safc2 was 5 to 5 or i could be rong. 3 to 5 maby?

the E60 with an sr20det are 4in 6out on an AFC and will have serial number hopefully by tomarrow for the N60

The 22680-16V00 MAFS is an old school MAFS, it came on many 80's and early 90's Nissans like the R31 Skyline. The MAFS is also found on the late 80's to early 90's Nissan Maxima in the US. So find the pinout for that MAFS on the web somewhere.

I dont have access to my Maxima MAFS FSM's right now.

SAFC in outs are 4 in, 6 out. Or 5 out for an S14/S15.
