Recently, I upgraded to a much larger intercooler(24x12x3 Ebay). My old intercooler was a boostdesigns unit and the i/O were both collapsed a little due to excessive clamping force I guess.. I didn't notice until I removed it.. Anyways, it was way small for my application (24x6x2.75). Before I did 414whp at 24psi. This time, I did 419whp at 20psi.

I made a decent video of this dyno session including a short clip of my car on the street:http://www.ka-t.org/cory/turbokacory3.zip

nice job cory...

Are your charge pipes still the same? How close are those AFR's compared to your Wideband 02? how much was the ebay intercooler? This is very interesting...

Great Job! It would be wonderful if you posted at least the specs of the tubine (trim and A/R) so others can get a better idea of what to expect. That torque curve is beautifully flat after about 4200 RPM.

Yea I got that POS boostdesigns IC myself but mine is even smaller then your original boostdesigns IC. I need to measure it and see exactly what size it is. I seen the video do you have any pics of the IC installed and what you had to modify to get it to fit? Also what size IC pipes do you have mine are only 2.25?

Absolutely beautiful. Are you fine tuning it with a SAFC or is it just straight enthlapy? Awesome work.

You're the man Cory. I wish my KA had held on longer...One never knows what the previous owner put the car through. Mine went in short fashion once I upped the boost.

Over 400 is a really fun car. Congrats!!!

Wow! I'm amazed the IC can make that big of a difference. Impressive!

How big is the new IC's inlet and outlet?

Wow, high compression then! Always running race gas or low boost for daily driving?

I am glad to hear that. I have a thicker head gasket so I will have to start with higher levels of boost after about a week of tuning in low boost (fear of detonation) but I have ARP hardware holding my stock rods in, so if I can get close to that, with that kind of reliability, I would be happy. To what do you attribute your success, the tune, or your tune, etc.

Head is stock. Cams are stock.

I keep the 100 octane in it unless I go on a long drive. Then I do 15-16psi on pump gas.

The enthalpy tune is definatly a big part of this car. But I think everything plays its role. I would like to patent this kit and sell it because it all works together so well..

Or traction problems, isn't the trap a little high?
