I see people stating things about a DVD hack. Can someone please clarify what exactly that is? Is it something that allows you to play DVD's while driving? If so, please inform how I go about it please.

Thanks,

J

That is exactly what it is. There are a lot of posts and DIY on these boards. I had it done and my wife loves it, keeps her busy during little road trips.

The only down side that I have experienced is when you toggle back to your navigation screen it may take a bit for the map to figure out where you are. It depends on how fast you are driving on how long it takes to sync back up.

Hmmm.... the threads on the DIY for the DVD Hack have all been removed from Nico's site. For liability issues I assume. Can someone direct me to a site that offers the how to instructions on this mod?

Thanks,

J

Thanks,

I will keep it for future reference. I was thinking it was a simpler procedure. Not hard really, but would be more time consuming than anything. For the first time that is. I think my wife would be pretty upset if she saw I was tearing apart the inside of her car! I will have to wait to do this when I have the car long enough when she's not around.

Thanks again!

J
