compression and leak down test, do you mean no oil or NO oil... like slight lubrication or like bone dry no oil plug...

It could badly wear the bearings or scar them and a rebuild would be good but you could probably get by as is for a good while as long as there's oil pressure there when you get it oiled.

If you've put oil in it and cranked it you hurt it worse, take the plugs out, put a small amt of oil in every cylinder, refill the pan and turn it over until you have oil pressure. That or get the drill and go from the disty but most people don't have the tools. Anyway, good luck with the car, I'll hope for the best, but as long as it didn't/doesn't lock up before then I'd say you are fine...

There is a good chance youve done some damage to the bearings, how much is hard to say.

How much oil was actually in the engine? What kind of oil was it, syn, or dino? How long had it been since the oil was changed, what condition was it in, also what viscosity was in there last?

I would definitely pull the plugs and get some oil in the cylinders, you want as little resistance to cranking as possible .

Good luck.

This sounds like pregnancy...

OMG OMG help! Am I ok?! What do I do? What if shes preggo?hahaha

I would think you shouldnt worry to much just take a look, you didnt drive long or slam on it and it shouldnt have heated up to much. Thats just a total guess by the way

I heard royal purple will smooth out/Polish bearing surfaces. I don't know if that would help. I had a moble 1 oil filter pop off on me before. I drove 10 blocks and started to hear my timing chane. I filled it back up, used a new filter. The chane sound went away and I haven't had a problem after a year. We both probably lost some tolerance's.

Ian, I like that sig pic! Is that a snowy mountain road?

It is indeed, it was late spring, and I was cruising one of my secret spots.
