Thanks, I was actually going to contact you on hows everything with your GTR wheels ?! Have you pulled fenders ? Still rub over big bumps potholes ?

wheels are still in good shape, i havent pulled fenders or anything. yeah it still rubs but i am waiting to get D2 coils as well and go as low as possible  hopefully then it will camber in more and wont rub + coils are much stiffer then springs. 2 extra people in my car and i scrape just making regular turns.

this is with a couple people in the car..i wanna go this low or a lil lower with the coils

the templates for the akebono are pretty accurate. I used the ones from conceptzperfprmance and made it out of cardboard. They way I figured out how much of a spacer I needed was buying some cheap spacers from autozone or whatever and stacked them on the rim to see how much was needed to clear. Then I just returned them lol. One thing to consider is if you do get bbk make room for an additional 5 to 10 mm clearance from the caliper, I had a very minimal amount on my fronts and had a friend who put the wheel on to fast and messed up my caliper. I was able to touch it up but wish I would of thought about that before hand. Ohh and I think the previous owner of the wheels is the same guy I was considering buying these wheels from a while back. I have mixed decisions of what to do with my wheels currently collecting dust, IDK if I want to have the car rest on the lips or tuck when I air out. I just can't imagine if a bag blew how bad that would turn out...

Looks real good how it sits in that picture :) are you having some bad rub marks on the tire/fender?!
I went on 1010 tires and compared your rear wheel to mine and mine actually sticks out 4 mm more than yours :ohno: and has 16mm more inner clearance.. I may also buy the camber control arms if that will help... and
maybe give the fender very slight pull... also did you notice some extreme camber wear on your tires ?
Oh and if you want the D2s let me know I might have a good price on them

Thanks, yeah the paper did say give yourself atleast 2-3mm more, I will have to just give enough to clear with 5mm the most as the wheel at 9.5" et.25 plus spacers is pretty far out already . I don't know how much the M can swallow on the front  I think that the guy you are talking about sold the car to the guy I bought the wheels from, but maybe I am wrong.. What wheels do you have that collect dust ?! :naughty: I hear you, well I personally prefer the lips kissing the fender look rather than the tuck look but that's just me :)

yeah thats the guy, that y34 is nice! The fronts can swallow a lot if you stretch tires like a 225 on that size rim. IDK how that guy in japan got those wheels to clear stock fenders with a 0 offset. My only guess is a 235 or even 225 tire with more than 5 deg camber. these are the wheels I have in boxes/collecting dust: post6483713.html?hilit=teaser#p6483713 I havent had time to mount them or decide which route to go as far as color scheme.

it only rubs where the quarter and the rear bumper meet cause you cant really pull that spot. some rub marks on the tires but nothing extreme.
i wanna get control arms as well. also no extreme camber wear, i can notice it slightly, i am at like 3.5degrees rear camber.
ill definitely let you know about those coils!!!!!!! :yesnod

Yup that y34 of his is very clean:) niiiice wheels and sizes I am guessing you not sharing offsets on those huh :naughty: are you repainting the car or the wheels ?! But looks sick either way :dblthumb: my new tires for the AMEs will be Toyo Proxes in either 225/235 front and 245 rear that should be just fine . Seems like japanese modders are far more advanced :yesnod Btw are you on air ?! If so what setup, I am just lurking and dreaming about the Accuair w E-level seen a couple of videos on that and seems to be good quality , simple and most of all affordable for us mortal ones

Yup , thanks alot , I am not afraid of - camber but those ichiba control arms seem to be good for the price and will definetly gain more control in aligning. Whenever you are ready let me know :)

I dont mind telling offsets if someone wants them. Im still debating if I want to even mount them because they are aggressive and may requier body work which I dont want to do. For color scheme I meant how I want the wheels to look, either all polished, all black, or burgandy face polished lips to match my headlights. Im definately on air and loving it ever since. The kits I pieced together are D2racing airsuspension and Accuair VU4 with the elevel kit and remote (product before i-level). I havent had any problems any of the products as of yet thankfully and Accuair has some really good customer service for the times I called with questions. I was going to just go with coilovers but that would be the same thing as springs since you cant adjust on the fly so I wouldnt be able to drive any lower than eibachs, not worth it for me and these roads with a fiberglass bodykit. If you go air it will be worth every penny.

Oh on the color scheme Idk but that burgundy face with polished lips sounds very interesting :) what are the lip sizes I can figure the offsets more or less ;) I was looking for something like this assuming it can go over my D2 coilovers http://www.ebay.com/itm/AccuAir-Air-Sus ... 0d&vxp=mtr

Would a kit like this be all I need ?! Can you Pm what you dropped on you air sus with the install just to get a ballpark idea and to start putting them coins in piggy bank :)
