!@#$ you Winter, I put them on anyways

Motegi SP10 flat black 17x7

Very impressed with the car's handling after the wheels were installed...Considering the stock wheel is 15x5.5

And just to show my new Nismo decal

Better, clean pictures will be coming shortly

Thanks for the compliments. It is a Stillen intake. I wish it came with some badging or something. Stillen decals aren't easy to come by.

Great choice in wheels!! Look nice and I had a feeling in your last post that you weren't going to wait for spring to throw them on...

Sweet, I have a brilliant silver V and looking at flat black rims. I never could tell very well from TireRack.com if it would look good or not. Now I know!

sigh..I tried. But the wheels sat behind me at my desk, taunting me every day.

There is still some grease on the tires from when they were being mounted so I will clean them off today and take some better pictures.

EDIT:

I'm thinking about painting my front calipers. I'm stuck between either silver for a clean look, or black for a stealth look...any suggestions?

Hey good choice of wheels, here are some caliper examples for you to get an idea of what it would look like

Black is the way to go.. The silver just looks stock in my opinion. Black with silver or white lettering is my vote

In all honesty, for some odd reason I think the car looked better with the stock wheels.

Maybe because of the cleaner look? I didn't mind them either, but I hated how thin they were. 15x5.5 just doesn't cut it.

Here are some clean day pictures of the wheels

Now lets see how long I can go without washing the car. Grey with black wheels....I'll wash it twice a year

Actually looks a lot better. LOL

Maybe next thing you should do is get the Sport package spoiler. Just did mine and looks awesome.

Very nice. See, I'm not anti-mod.

As for the calipers, I wouldn't bother, not much there to show off (it's not like you have a BBK) and they'll be dark from being dirty anyway.

Your car looks great. Are you leaving those on for winter, or are they coming back off for "winter tires"?

They're going to stay on. The tires are all season, so they will be fine. Vancouver winters are nothing but rain and more rain. Snow days are few and far in between...next on the list..but maybe for after winter...

Can you post a side by side pic of those wheels next to the stock wheels so I can see how much wider they are. I was looking at the exact same wheels at tirerack.

How is the cornering. Because with the stock they squeel for any little turn.

And finally, what brand and size tires did you put on thos wheels?

I don't have a pic of the wheels side by side, but they're 1.5 inches wider than stock so that'll give you a giid idea as to how much wider they are. Handling is great, no more squeeling and on ramps can be taken like a bat of hell

What is that under your SL badge? It looks like either a hair on the lens or a decal of something.

My vote is for the red caliper btw, but I seem to be the only one who thinks so, so whatever.

Love the rims. Love the new lips. Hurry up and get'em on there!

That is actually the outline of the Nurburgring, a race track in Germany.

As for the calipers, I like the red, but I've never been a fan of red stock calipers. Black looks nice, but I'm leaning towards the silver. I painted my old car's calipers silver and they turned out really nice.
