I'm pretty close to this location. I would like to take my 240 out for a spin on it for a day. What is the price? It's not mentioned anywhere.

Here's the breakdown:

school itself: $325 (cost includes banquet dinner + event shirt)ACNA membership $44 1 yr (or $79for 2yr, or $99for 3yr) Gotta be a member to attend). membership benefits include subscription to their magazine, access to all club events/functions in all chapters, access to other car club events, like PCA autocrosses, car rally's, vendor discounts, deeper access to their website, factory tours, auto show discounts, Cool stuff. helmet rental $40 (free if you have your own helmet). If you don't live near the track, figure a 2 night stay at a local hotelSleep Inn has a block of rooms- $75/night x 2 includes free breakfast

Pretty cheap for what you're getting.

2 days on one of the nicest racetracks in the country in your own car with instruction, free instructor car rides, event shirt and a banquet dinner with about 200 other friendly enthusiasts with a wide variety of cars. They normally have a pro phoptographer on hand snapping action shots.the only item I suggest bringing is a camera as you'd e surprised by some of the cool cars that show up to Audi events.

Quick update. There is already a waiting list for all run groups except instructors. I was surprised to see it fill up almost 3 months in advance. I've only seen that happen at Mid Ohio and Watkins Glen.

But if any of you are still interested in doing it, they are talking about expanding the # of spots, plus there are usually some cancellations.

Hi. I thought I'd bump this instead of creating a new thread. Audi's just opened registration to their annual Summit Point HPDE. This is a weekend event, 10/14-10/15. This years will be on their new Shenandoah circuit, in addition to the Jefferson circuit, plus their skid pad. For a first timer, it's 2 days of track time with instruction on 2 separate racetracks, a wetted down skid pad (think drifting without the tire wear ) a banquet dinner plus an event shirt for about the price of a couple tires.

Here's the link:

And here's Summit Point's website:http://www.summitpoint-raceway.com/

There is also an HPDE at VIR the weekend before Thanksgiving.I hope to see some NICOnauts come down:

Nope, not going. But it sounds like fun. Make sure you post some of those pics and have a great time.

Just bumping this thread. In addition to the Summit Point HPDE being open, Audi just opened registration for their VIR school the weekend before Thanksgiving. . I know several of you will be seeing VIR for the first time at NICOfest. If you find VIR as awesome as I do, this HPDE is two days on the full course.

VIR usually sells out quickly, o if any of you are interested, here's the link:

http://www.audiclubna.org/chap...id=56

You can also get it thruhttp://www.audicarclubna.org

Click on Chapters then Potomac Chesapeake.

Just bumping this up. The VIR school only has a few spots left in the beginner group. All of the other student groups are waitlisted. the Summit Point school is not yet waitlisted but they also only have a few spots left.If any of you are interested in doing either track, you'll need to sign up soon.

I'm signed up for both.

Regards.
