yep. thats your problem = new caliper for you.

I tried to find a link on how this kind of caliper works for you but couldn't find one. Since this kind you have to screw in to compress, there is a screw inside that expands and retracts the inner pad. The cable pulls a lever which turns the screw outward to compress the pads. And since your threads are stripped, it doesnt work.

Its easy to replace. Just make sure the inner pad is lined up right so that the little nipple things on the pad sit in the inner caliper face straight and snug when it is put on. You can reuse your current pads if they are still thick enough and even with the other wheel.

thanks i was wondering how these twist types acctually work.smh ase certifed in buncha things.know how to fix it but not how some things work lol ..i was doin the new pads at the time of this. the set if factory pads were too thick so only the left side rear and fronts were completed.
but i noticed that lil nipple on the pad.shouldnt that prevent the piston from twisting? how would it expand outward then?

so to update in case anyone cares. i went with oem pad and cut my rotors. and used that $300 tool to push back the old caliper which does work correctly for eb and foot brake.and re adjusted the handle to spec
and there u go.perfect eb parking lot tested ..its epic!
