this has been discussed a number of times. =P

you will need either the silvia gauge cluster or a dohc cluster.

you will need either the silvia AC with all lines intact, or the DOHC ac with all lines intact if you want AC.

you will need new powersteering lines.

no, the S15 cluster won't fit, the years don't interchange

Most of my engines come with the AC and such, you can buy clusters from me for 100 dollars as well.

I don't guarantee AC, but we'll see what we can do as far as getting you one with AC. : ) Course, I won't have a full shipment again till November, this first shipment has gone like wildfire.

Sorry, for the quality of my engines thats the best price I can do, if I could make it any better that would be my standard price, but since I buy running cars there just isn't any way of making it cheaper. Good luck with the other engine.

Generally heavy throttle has extra parts, you may wish to check with them for your missing pieces. : )

I'm almost 100% certain that they're one of the eBay sellers. I don't know anyone who has bought from them, however, if you looked at the warranty the only thing thats covered are the internals, and any labor thats involved in replacing them is not covered, and shipping is not covered.

Please note I am not attacking the quality of their engines, I'm not attacking the quality of their establishment, nor am I saying any of this will happen.

HOWEVER, it says FROM 1799, the engine may very well be more, theres also shipping and HANDLING charges. In addition, the turbo could easily be blown and all of the peripherals could be broken or ruined. It doesn't cover any sensors or the harness. Also, if anything is wrong you have to pay for shipping back to them, then they will repair or replace upon their discretion. It doesn't say anywhere that their engines will run, it says they're from running vehicles, but then they don't guarantee that all the parts will be there or that any of the peripherals, to me that sounds kind of odd. Also, I can pretty much guarantee that they're 1799+ engines aren't from running engines, its just too inexpensive. However, since I'm not a member of their organization I can't be 100% sure. Obviously, its all up to you, and did you call them and ask how much they were, because the price says FROM 1799. How many car dealers says from 3999 and the cheapest car you can find is 7000 dollars. : )

I dunno, did i miss anything? Truly, as callous as this sounds, its your choice and your reponsibility and what you want to do ultimately rests on your shoulders. I can't say they're bad, I can't say they're good, maybe someone else here has dealt with them. However, I can tell you what their warranty does and does not say, and I can tell you for 1799 its not from a running car especially if they don't guarantee the peripherals.

Enjoy your day!

My engines are 2200 + shipping, 100% complete. Shipping is generally around 200 dollars, so it usually works out between 2300-2500 with shipping.

Also, did you ask about the side mount intercooler? Most places don't include that in their "complete" setup, also, did you ask where they had their harnesses cut?

In reply to daunt, thats so true I saw this nice lookin 240sx 93 about 50 miles away in RI so i planned a day trip and went there. I called the f*cking rat and asked him how it was and he tells me "it's a beautifull 240sx very sporty, just hit 100k miles and its not a rat"

MY *** you ****ING RAT BASTARD, this thing had a 170k miles on it a huge break in the windshield and the interior looked like two hippos just had sex in there while smokin 50 cigars!!!!

as you can tell i was a little displeased with his uncourteous fib.

I got my CA for 1200 "complete" plus shipping from a shop called SOKO (big name ****ty service). Anyhow the motor gets here, no AC, no MAF, no Ignitor, and no ECU. I also had a turbo that blew up about 30 days after I got it running. All that crap cost me over 700 which is quite a bit for a 'complete price'.

Then I got a replacement motor, 700 plus shipping, it had a cracked exhaust manifold, missing all the sensors, no injectors, and a blown turbo. When I started it the motor blew up (after 2seconds of idleing) So I had to spend another 200 to ship the motor to get my 700 back (spent 400 shipping a chunk of scrap iron around the counry for a 700 refund).

My buddy Rock is doing a right hand drive conversion, he got his clip off Ebay from a place called TPA. They sent him his S14 motor, in an S13 clip, with a cut harness, and a T25 off a CA18 on it. He still hasn't gotten his money back from them (as he needed the WHOLE clip for the RHD conversion).

Moral of the story, the cheep places will screw you..... it happens all the time, everyday......

Now I've never bought a motor from Adam (daunttless), but he's a good freind of mine and trust me when I say this his motors will not leave you hanging looking for parts or with broken pistons like the people I've delt with in the past did.

look around the other boards, I think there's a thread right now on "F'n A$$holes" about motor places screwing people.

In the end the choice is yours, and if you think you can get a good motor from those people go for it, but don't come bitching to the rest of us when they stop answering their phones and walk off with your $1799.

I do live here, but my power has been out all day.

My email is in my signature.

What engine you buy is your choice, I can't guarantee other peoples quality. I get 4-5 emails a week asking about other peoples engines, no offense intended and I like to be helpful, but why don't you ask THEM about the quality of the product they are selling. I have no way of knowing anything.

I can't get you an engine till November as all of my October shipment is gone. Also, all the information as to what I think you need and what not, as well as my prices and average shipping costs are on my website.

Also, if you buy the engine from him, at this time I don't sell spare parts, you'll have to go to http://www.heavythrottle.com

Enjoy your day.

Yes, I sell front end conversions. : ) Some on ebay are safe, some aren't, mine will probably be roughly the same price though and you know they are complete. : )
