Hello recently i installed oem s13 side skirts, everything went fine except for the right passenger door
it is scraping the Side skirts like mad. I have found out the problem, the door somehow is not flush with the body or its not aligned. It sits abit low so thats why it is scraping
the skirts. Is there an easy way to adjust the height? or do i need new door>?

thanks

Does the door sag? If the hinges are worn, it could be sagging down, causing the rubbing. Does the door latch smoothly, or does it have to lift up to get onto the latch? Typically the drivers side hinges wear out from over use. It may just be mis-aligned.

If the hinges aren't too worn out, you should just be able to loosen the bolts holding the latches to the frame, and re-align the door. You may also need to re-align the hook for the latch.

Aligning doors is a pain in the butt pure and simple. I have done it quite a bit, and its never enjoyable. Personally if its something you have never done before, I would swing by a body shop and see how much they would want to do it. Or find a friend locally who has done body work.

Thats the other thing, aligning doors is something best done with help, doing it solo is tough. So if you are going to attempt it, call a friend or 2.

then you are out of alignment. you will need to adjust the hinges, as well as thee catch hook on the door sill.

why not do the simple way and adjust the skirts (if they arent painted yet)

just take a dremel (or such type of tool) and start shaving away, if you go too far, you can always fix it with fiberglass.

either way would work fine, gotta learn from mistakes.

personally i would get the door lined up as close as possible, then if it still scrapes, then start shaving the skirt. no one will be able to notice a few mm shaved off if done cleanly.
