Ya.. I guess I notice more domestic guys getting agro that they lost. Maybe it's because their cars are faster and they expect to win. Some kid with an SI racing a turbo 240 knows he's going to lose.

Like a few weeks ago on saturday night I pulled up at a light next to this Delsol. I gave it a little rev and the passenger said "that's turbo" .. I'm like.. and? Who cares? Race me anyway. Then they just say no... I'm like??? Okay..

dont ever tip the hand!! If you are going to rev, keep the revs Below your BOV's opening point! I guess you never race for money.

hehe.. I didnt tip him, that was the thing, they must have just known of me. I gave it a slight rev, like to 2k, there was no bov.

I remember once we were at In&Out and there was this riced supra, my friend asked the guy if he wanted to race (my car) and he said no and laughed like his car was super fast, so then my friend said how about for $100 (calling his bluff on the car being slow) and the guy said no still. I assume he had a slow NA supra. I didnt see an intercooler...

Either way you could tell it was slow and he just wanted to act like it fast fast to his girl. he looked like an idiot when he said no to the $100 race. If his car was quick it would be an easy $100

look at it the other way.. If some punk kid is daring to race a SUPRA for MONEY he must have something insane under the hood.

240sxer: I am in no way trying to get on your case about street racing, but don't you think its a bit dangerous? I know that you probably take certain precautions and are a good driver, but that doesn't eliminate variables like someone else being a $hitty driver and causing an accident. Who knows what might happen to you, your car or even worse, someone who isn't involved at all. I read that you go to the track and take on the domestics and they give your car a challenge, so why not just go to the track and keep racing them until you start to beat them consistantly. I mean thats a hell of a feat having a 2.0 ltr nissan taking out 5.7 ltr camaros and 5.0, or 4.6 mustangs. Then start taking on other cars like vettes and porches... at the track. I'm not busting balls here, but if your car is as fast as you say it is, why not keep it on the track instead of taking such huge risks of racing on the streets? I just couldn't imagine losing my car and/or licence, especially when i know i could prevented it. Be safe.
