i was playing around in photoshop and yellowed my headlights LOL, ive seen it on a few other cars (IE wrx) and thought it looked cool. are these like universal tint type kits or is it specifically made to the car or what?? i think it looks sorta cool, for a change. itd prolly look better on a black car.

You can buy yellow tint at your local APC store aka PepBoys, and tint your lights

It won’t be any different then having sun light on them, since the head lights are in front they have massive air flow cooling them

If that don't work for you see if there's some headlights from France that would fit a 240

I believe most if not all headlights from France come yellow stock.

I think they used to sell aftermarket yellow "diamondcut" lights on ebay.

i did that to one of my friends mini cooper. its pepper white, and looks so damn hot with the painted yellow headlights. we got it from the local tuner shop. it was some jap brand with no english written on the can. its been done for about 3 months now, and it still looks good. i would consider doing it to my s14, but the s14 doesnt have the right shape lights to do it too. on the other hand, the s13 does and i think it would look really hot on your car. one can ($20) did both of his headlights with 4 nice coats on each. do it!

LOL they all look the same man. it was just like the ones you pictured. oh yeah, at night, when my friend has his lights on it looks killer. lighting quality did not go away what so ever. it just made the tint of the beam yellow which looks really tight.

Looks like an easy way to attract unnecessary attention from cops. I prefer stealthiness.

if you lose lighting quality, then why do jgtc cars have yellow tinted headlamps?

Try some glass paint. I used red Krylon paint to tint my rear taillights. They have yellow. I might do this for my lights. If I don't like it, I'd just take it off, no biggie.

Lol, I don't really like the yellow... you should go with a different color that better suites your car... also you should check and make sure that some of that isn't illegal (if you plan on keeping your car totally street legal) My friend got pulled over because his headlights were blue :?

actually, just like the American Le Mans Series, yellow headlight distinguish differant classes of cars. i cant remeber what classes have what, but differant headlight colors in your rearview mirror means get the hell out of the way.

yeah, one can will def be enough. like i said, i did my friends mini lights with one can and got 4 coats on each, and even painted his fogs too. you could get two though. that way if it starts to fade down the road you can bling it up again with a nice coat. its def gonna look hot on your car. itll be a nice contrast with the color that your car is.

Ben, i think it looks wicked hot!

There's a site called Lamina-X or something, I think they were featured in SCC a while ago because the film they make is resistant to rocks/etc. They are the same people who make the film that goes on bumpers and sideskirts to keep the paint from chipping off. You can buy whatever size sheets you want and at least its functional in the sense that it will protect your headlights (if they are glass) from cracking.

here it is: http://www.lamin-x.com/

Now I don't know if it will attract attention from the cops, but Philips at some point made yellow-tinted (dot approved) headlight bulbs touting them as good for 'inclement' weather driving.

edit:oh you bought it already.
