i think its the GT cars that run yellow while the LMPs run blue

i always like the look of the yellow. everyone does HID blue so its refreshing to see a hard solid yellow. looks killer

There's a site called Lamina-X or something, I think they were featured in SCC a while ago because the film they make is resistant to rocks/etc. They are the same people who make the film that goes on bumpers and sideskirts to keep the paint from chipping off. You can buy whatever size sheets you want and at least its functional in the sense that it will protect your headlights (if they are glass) from cracking.

here it is: http://www.lamin-x.com/

Now I don't know if it will attract attention from the cops, but Philips at some point made yellow-tinted (dot approved) headlight bulbs touting them as good for 'inclement' weather driving.

edit:oh you bought it already.
crap that was a good link, ill give the spray stuff a try tho. im surprised i havent seen this stuff on any 240s. im just looking for something a little different from everyone else.

Sweet. you know, it's funny how I have an idea, and a thread like this pops up. My headlights are going yellow as well, I thought of blue, but went with yellow. I hope your spray comes out well.

I got the awesome film, I'll take some pics and we can see if there really is a differance, lol. now, if only the rest of my car was as clean as yours..... Those rewinds are badass, I had some of the 14" gold centered ones on my old Corolla.

Here's another headlight film alternative. I've been looking at getting tail light smoke film for the '04 from these guys...They have pre-cut films for several Nissan models, unfortunately, the 240's not one of them. You can still get film and cut it yourself:

thanks for the complements guys. i just drove it at night for the first time, and the light output is a little less than it used to be nothing drastic tho. s13 lighting output sucks anyways lol. its not horribly yellow to where cops will stop me either (knocks on wood) ive got more goodies in the mail too so stay tuned!!

That website has the film significantly cheaper, but the films look much darker too.

Ben--I like it! It could probably be cleaned off if you didn't want it right?
