No one on this site tracks their G more then Jeff (Gwoods) he has worn through more rubber and experimented with different things more then anyone on here I know! (referring to cars btw )

And it's great to see him back!
I actually sold my slicks and rims to a Mustang owner a few months back... at 70k miles the G is now in preservation mode and no longer embarrassing blue oval's at the drag strip.

I have a grudge match planned against a 2007 350Z convertable but don't expect much challenge if he ever is ready to race.

Babysitters husband has a 07 6spd stick 350z convert. One day when I'm picking up my 17 month old he tells me he beat my car. I said oh you may have beat a G35 but you didn't beat MY car.

His curb weight is 3600 plus he runs 20" heavy rims. I'm guessing his curb weight is going to be 3700. He also is a football player sized dude so add another 250 easy.

My G has been on a diet. Its curb weight is 3466 lbs and since I'm a veggie now I am a healthy 185.

He has a manual which is less drive train loss. I have the 5spd auto I think I will shift faster and less often. I'll trip the light at 102 mph 8000rpm in 3rd.

I think I will beat him by 4-5 tenths all in the 1/8th the back 1/8th should be dead even.

I just put the Injen intake on my G and am happy with it. Breaks loose in 2nd now vs just a SLIGHT chirp on the upshift previously.

My 2 cents - if you have the money and want to do something to your car it doesn't HURT, but it just might not help more than make it sound pretty darn sweet.
