BTW, I never said RSX's weren't reliable - Re-read my post. Fools are out there acting like F&F was for real and they're not even letting the engine "break in" properly. No maintenance + retarded driver + consistent abuse = dead car. That's all. Can't argue with the numbers, and right now Acura is losing their a$$ on the RSX engine/transmission replacements.

the MINI beat the MCLAREN F1,geez, had to be a brit, thats just dumb, there is NO WAY, id rather drive a MINI than a damn mclaren, hell, id rather drive a freckin zo6 than a mini, much less a mclaren, just dumbs14=pimpin' wrote:mini cooper S was actually voted #1 the car you must drive before you die, by British columnist. I think the rx-8 will set the bar for new sport models out of Japan, but it seems as if the Japanese are tossing their turbo's for NA configurations, and domestics doing the opposite. Can't really blame mazda, after looking at the numbers from the FD turbo problems.
If people only realised turbo motors are higher maintenace than NA motors (why don't all turbo cars come with a turbo timer STOCK?) then the motors may last longer (even in dodge's case). Until then, people will continue buying cars with blankets over their heads.
yea, IF 'i were to go non-nissan', same here, thats why i find it hard to believe that dodge built that quick of a car and built it RIGHT for only 20k, and if they did, they cheated!!TonyVQ wrote:I would not mind driving one of these new Neons to schec it out. If it were me thought, I think I would raterh come up with a way to drop some more $$$ down and get an STi or an Evo. (If I were going non-Nissan) That is a helluva price though. I think it was repo that said this too: I would also like to see how these hold up in the long run. That's going to be interesting to see.

There... i figured it all out. Lets call Nissan. :ylsuper
haha, yea u just described the pulsar GTiR there man!!, but yea, im with ya, just make it look better, im on hold as we speak!!, well as i speak or whatever...... and also EZ, have u had any other problems with the spec v lately?, it sounds like you've heard of a few of em blowing not just urs??< and also, was it really THAT big ofa problem with nissan to get em to replace it?Simmsled wrote:Nissan should take their Japanese Bluebird Sylphy 4wd system that is paired with the SR20DE that they still produce, turbo it, and then make it a 2 door, call it something like the "SX" or reincarnate the "Pulsar" name and price it just above the Spec V at 20k and fully loaded at like 24, just under the entry 350Z.
