Its been done befor jus not with that exact engine a guy i work with had a 71 280 an put a jaguar xj12 engine in it ran 9.4 an topped out at 160

I have them, they're removable with 4 bolts ;)Chute is coming in next week.

As for the V12, buy it, and bring the car.We'll get it in :)

Thanks Aries but I couldn't even imagine how much you would charge me to put that kinda motor in. I bet it would be way over budget.

Just promise that we can race when I'm done.:alcoholic The drive out there from chicago should be what, about 30 minutes.

I don't think it would be that much heavier. Aries says his LT1 is only 50lbs more. It would take I would think at least another 200lbs more to be to front heavy. Aries says at 170 his front end lifts almost all the way off the ground.

well its a torque box! if u get it up to 6 million lb/ft i might consider. possibly if i got some nitrous.

oh those mercedes engines bolt right up its crazy. its crazy, the ca18 makes those engines look tiny

i saw a jet powered focus on tv once. it was pretty phat but it was in a carshow so i didnt see it run :(
