on the inline 14 deisel freightliner engine? i havent seen that swap yet but i am interested to see how that comes out

throw on a T-150502502150532053025 and i think it should crank out something like 1 mil hp...

give or take

you'd need a 3'x25'x18' intercooler lol

I just got an e-mail back they have a 88 190e front clip for 700 what motor is that. Should I get it.

a 190e engine is a piece. its got about as much power as a lawnmower. really though, id love to see the v12 mercedes engine. for 700 you could buy a good low mileage ka24de or some suspension or something. if your a little strapped for cash, go for the ca18det, i love mine to death, im really glad i got it. (1500 shipped)

is there anyway I can get some info from you on the ca18det? i know the displacement is alot smaller but is turbo... what kind of price did you pay ? and does it produce better power than ka sohc?

look in the ca forum on this board, itll have all the information you need in a sticky at the top. but yes it has more power, 175hp, i paid $1500 shipped. i got it from http://www.venus-auto.com

I e-mailed the guy asking specifically for a v12 front clip. I don't know why he sent me that. But he has more so I'm gonna call him tomarro. I know the two door convertibal mercedes has a v12 so if it can fit in there it can fit in the 240 right.I think thats a good philosophy.

But if anyone else has any good suggestions on some engines to put in let me know. I was also thinking about a northstar cadilac motor. It came to mind when I raced an aurora today with my Malibu. He almost kept up with me then I switched to second gear.

So my friend at work says it's impossible he also states That I will never be able to beat his 10 second honda. He's very stuck up about it. I'm tired of him. I can't wait to shut him up. I wish I had the money right know. But I probably wont get it till school starts in the fall. That sucks. Unless I can get 35 people on here to donate 100 dollers each.

thats more scary than anything else. I wouldn't even think about it. Call me a wuss if you want, but I DON'T want that much power or torque. Sweet pete thats crazy!

that engine has alot of wear and filth to only have 5,000 miles on it ... i had a 00 Ranger with 30k miles on it and it was spotless

my 89 ka is probably cleaner than that engine....

way too dirty to only have 5,000 miles on it

I think I found the engine here's some of the details from the e-mail I got. He didn't tell me the engine code but it comes out of a 91 240."I talked to ben to day he wants $2300 for the copleteengine but may take less. It includes the customforged JE pistons, Custom forged crowler rods, nissanforged crank, custom made ARP hardware rod bolts, mainstuds, But the head bolts are still on order, and amain cap brace. The head is ported to the max, it hasnew valves, springs, vavle guides, and custom groundcams, and timing componets. the intake manifold isalso ported. It has venom injectors and the turbomanifold is also included and any other engineaccesories that i may have forgoten. " In another e-mail he says it has around 300hp and runs high 12's on 6-8lbs of boost. and it's a 16 valve DOHC.Any comments.

Ok well I got a caprice for 500 dollers with the LT1 in it and everything else I need. Ther car is actually in really nice condition it just has a rear main oil leak and needs a new radiator. I drove it and the engine is really strong. I'll take some pic's as soon as I get a new camera before I tear it apart. If anyone needs some parts like leather seats rims doors or just wants to buy the whole car with no motor and computer let me know. Oh it's a 94 Caprice I think it's the Broughm edition.

My friend is trying to convince me to keep the caprice and not do the swap. I gotta admit that the car rides really nice. It'll be hard to tear it apart. I also still have the option to get that other ka engine with the turbo that I mentiond earlier. he said I can have that whole car for 2500. I think it's a 240 coupeI'm not sure.

So what should I do. 1. LT1 swap into the 240 hatch back because I already have the two cars.2. get the 240 with the t3 turbo that is already built for racing that needs some work and I need 2500 to get.

no lt1, go with the coupe, coupes are awesome and that would be alot better i think. THe money you would have to have for fabrication of lt1 could go into the turbo ka
