MAKE THEM PLAY OUTSIDE WITH OTHER CHILDREN.

ENCOURAGE THEM TO PLAY DODGE BALL AND THROW THINGS AT EACH OTHER, ON PURPOSE.

BUY THEM TOYS THAT TAKE A PHYSICAL FORM: SLOT CARS, TRAIN SETS, LEGOS, AND MODEL ROCKETS.

WHEN THEY FAIL AT SOMETHING, DON'T GIVE THEM A PARTICIPATION TROPHY. TELL THEM TO TRY AGAIN AND EARN IT THE HARD WAY.

STOP TELLING FACEBOOK ABOUT HOW FUNNY IT WAS THAT YOUR KID SPILLED SPAGHETTI.

DONT LET THEM RUN AROUND IN RESTAURANTS LIKE UNTRAINED ANIMALS.

Signed,
J.

P.S.: Get the hell off my lawn.

PPS: Why are you still on my lawn?

Yeah, the whole. I like to go out to eat but my kids aren't afraid of me like they should be, so I let them do whatever they want, until the owner tells me to leave, I am sitting here ignoring my kids like I do a home, thin g gets to me.

When can I be the parent to your child? It takes a village and the village want to slap the crap out of you and your child.

Sports are good, but maybe YOUR kid isn't good at sports. That doesn't mean they shouldn't do anything outside.

Teach your kids to grow their own food and drive stick shift. I noticed people who can do those things are motivated people. Those who refuse to learn these simple skills are more likely to be lazy a-holes.

some animals eat their own young...

I'm just sayin...

http://www.associatedcontent.com/articl ... young.html
The wolf. Wild dogs are predators, too, and have been known to kill a variety of other, much smaller animals just for food. Just like the polar bear, the wolf will consume its young if given the chance.

The hyena. Native to Africa and Asia, this animal, known for making a laughing sound, is a vicious predator, and will consume the entire kill, including any bones. Well, at least the hyena gets points for neatness and not leaving the remains of dead animals hanging around to attract the maggots. But this guy will eat his own offspring too.

I don't actually own a lawn, but if I did, it would be the kind of yard where kids would throw their ball into it by mistake and decide that its lost forever.

Its 90F today. Carl's pool looks awesome, even if I have to share it with anthropomorphic fast food.

I honestly believe that at least half of this countries problems are caused by people who are too thick headed to follow your rules.

I can say from way too much personal experience that one never owns a lawn. The lawn pwns you.

I want a green back yard, but I want this kind of security setup in front:

I guess the only problem would be if some kid good at Super Mario Brothers broke through.

We have 4, and I think we follow the Jesda Code pretty well.

I know it's just a matter of time before I have to bail Bex outta the clink for pimpslapping some brat kid (or their parent... or both). :)

When it happens, the pictures will make it all worth while.

This is just as annoying as waiting behind some idiot woman who orders 10 servings at the drive-through and then adds something to the list while at the pay-window.

Said woman also held up the rest of the line for 5 minutes to check every item, then proceeded to pull off into the main road (a three-lane-per-side major thoroughfare) and drive 5 miles an hour while distributing food to her 5 children in the backseat during rush hour.

Horns and screaming have no effect on people such as these. Deadly force is the only way.

I hate eating out with my 3 year old. It's a constant battle to keep him in his seat and when he sees other kids running around he wants to join them. I hate parents that let their kids run amuck in public. I can't say I'm perfect about it but I try my damnedest.

Same here, my daughter is going to be three in a couple of weeks. She's good by herself but she is easily distracted by other kids.

I will put mine in the corner for everyone to see. He gets real embarrassed and stops misbehaving. I've done it three times. I don't put up with anything in a restaurant.

That's what I'm talking about. I'm mean your child doesn't want to go to a "nice" restaurant. Anytime I've had to watch kids, its sandwiches and the park or McDonalds Giant Playplace.

Funny story... My mother is a guidance counselor. She told me that psychologists and educators have just figured out this is a bad idea. The instant gratification thing limits peoples ambition to achieve more. And when the fail at something for the first time, they just give up. Sounds like our generation, doesn't it?
