Do you guys pop your hood?

From my experience most Nissan owners show what's under the hood. It's not the case for Honda owners. I also wouldn't show off in public if I had a SR or RB under the hood, unless I knew the people real good.

IN the metro area here, everyone asks all the time when ever i go into my car.

At meets and stuff i have 16 year olds and alot of mexicans (or spanish, whatever) ask me "whoa is that a silvia meng, i need to see your SR pleez, cos i am real nissan driver/collecter (mom and dad bought it for me !"or whatnot, its kinda tiring and obnoxious so i get mad and tell most to piss off.

oh yeah, and i have a KA so its not important, i dont htink i would change anything given even a nice engine under the hood!

My FMIC doesn't bling and my gauges are hidden for just that reason. But I've never liked attention, I'd rather talk to competent people about cars and learn from them instead of them nut-hugging because I'm like, so JDM.

Anybody that needs to know what's under my hood already knows and has already seen it. And everybody else just needs to know how quick it is, not what it is. It looks like every other f*#%ing sr out there. It's not that big of a deal.

Its just part of the fun in the community checking out each otehrs gear.Even if its bone stock but totally clean like some of teh lcoal Maxima guys.

Its just pretty standard around here to open our hoods.
