HP/L is a meaningless metric when a compact and light SBC makes so much power for so little weight and physical space consumed.

More displacement does not make for a "bigger" engine, especially if it's OHV.

The torque dip from a dig in the 370Z is pretty awful too. It's my biggest gripe about the car. Once RPMs are past 3k, it's off like a rocket, but from a dig, just about every minivan with an automatic can get going faster. Its embarrassing. Yes, I could dump the clutch at higher RPM, but I prefer not to replace the clutch every 20k miles...

Well, next time you do replace your clutch, throw in one of these.

That heavy, dual-mass flywheel may make for a friendly, reduced NVH environment for the masses, but for the enthusiasts/purists it just makes for an uninspired experience.

I'm also not convinced that Korean quality is up to Japanese standards
