DIY low budget lip version 2

i know what your talking about man, now that i have already cut up this piece of molding, next time i redo it (whenever that is) i will use the existing piece as a template, and round out the corners on the edges of the mouth, i used an exacto knive to cut it when it was already on the car, so trying to round the edges did not really work to well. so i became frustrated and then cut it at a 90 degree angle and called it a day. just in time to make happy hour at the local brewery!

I like it. Seems like a really good idea for the people that chop the bottom of the bumper to fit a front mount intercooler. Its a solid base for ducting. 10 points

ok, so the middle of the molding in the front of the bumper was sagging, so i had an idea to use some gorilla glue. i scuffed the moliding and wood and applied some. i used a piece of wood as a support to hold 4 c-clamps to clamp the molding to the wood support. it works awesome!! i tried to seperate the bond today and it will not budge. next time i redo the lip i will use this stuff to bond the molding to the wood support to eliminate the screws in the front. i think i will still use 2 or 3 screws on the side of the bumper, just in case the glue decides to fail.
