This same technology has been pioneered for the movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button".
If you are interested in the technology, here is the TED Talk:

Clu's face was definitely pretty impressive. Granted, the whole "lighting isn't quite right" look of CG happened to be perfectly suited to a character who was supposed to be CG anyway, but it was still pretty impressive.

I dont even understand what the hell this thing is about. I despise previews that give no indication of what the plot is, like I'm supposed to give a rat's a** about motorcycles and lasers.

You would know more about it if you saw the trailer from the first one from 1982.

Really cool concept to be honest; I think Tron Legacy could of been better than it was, but it is still a 8.4 out of 10.

Daft Punk's club scene was great!

I was born in 1981. After almost 30 years you really have to market this stuff as if it was fresh material.

I generally agree that trailers that tell you nothing about the movie kill my interest instantly. I suggest you go see Tron anyway. Like KV said, it could have been better, but was still very good.

I've never even SEEN Tron (yeah, yeah, I know...what the Hell kind of reject nerd am I anyway, blah blah blah). Read wiki's synopsis of Tron, then go see Legacy. You honestly don't even need to do that, though...Legacy recaps the key stuff from the first movie fairly well.

Reading too many NICO threads at once can be hazardous to your posts. I confused your post with one by krimsonviper in some other thread.

Gem's hair killed the package for me.
