This has been done once that i know of, after seeing a blurry sideways pic in an old issue of Drift magazine.

Silvia bumper and fenders, with popups and popup hood.

Anyone have clearer pics of this?

looked vaguely like...

That's like a halfass conversion. Looks to me like he/she just put on sivia fenders and hung a silvia bumper. Doesn't look like there's a grill involved at all. I kinda like the lines from the fenders. If you squint really hard, it looks like a respectable silvia conversion, but when you open your eyes you're brought back to the sad reality that it's not.

That pic was in an old issue (nov 2007) of DRIFT TENGOKU super jdm monthly drift mag. Fabbing up some sort of grill to fill that spot wouldn't be too hard, but i don't know it the pop ups would clear it lol..

You do realize that's a Silvia, right? Wouldn't call it half assed when he took the time to retro the pop-up muckets and associated wiring to work.

Personally, I like the look. It doesn't look bad, but I would have to say that filling in the grill with something should be done. It'll have to be custom since the headlight brackets would be for pop ups, and not have any grill supports on them.
