I figure sticking with OEM fenders and bumpers would fix that... Just make sure your bumper supports are all in place, I guess.TroubleBound wrote:Just dont like the small gap between the bumper and the fender in both pics. If that was remedied this would be pretty sick.

Increased airflow into the engine bay and some slight weight reduction? Any idea how much the entire pop up assembly, motors and housing, both weigh?simmode1 wrote:
It's an acquired taste. For people who place a higher value on functionality rather then aestetics. But its not bad looking if you pick a tasteful bumper and hood.
I'd like to see an 180sx kouki or Version Select ver6 front bumper with an Origin cowled Silvia hood....
well really it'd be no different than having a factory light recessed into a none reflective housing. Just wouldn't be a lens in front of it. Just like the factory silvia lights below, the surrounding really doesn't aid in their function. Its the light and reflector mounted a few inches back that does.Littlledevil696 wrote:The only concern I have is the street functionality at night. Yeah the hood not being long enuff to fit flush with the fenders doesn't bother me much. It it was any longer, I'd worry about how much light would actually shine through. My main concern would be preventing bumper sag...svairman wrote:its like the 240sx front end it longer than the silvia's, if the hood could be stretched or moved forward some to fix that gap I think I'd like it better. I agree with you though, the front top corner of the fender not lining up with the corners of the hood bothers me.
the hoods just shorters, its not an alignment thing, all those pics have the same gap at the hood corners and fender
How do you figure? Just mount up an off the shelf driving light and/or so projectors and make sure you aim them right...Littlledevil696 wrote:The only concern I have is the street functionality at night. Apparently they are 9.5 lbs each. About 20lbs together. I think a halogen replacement setup would be lighter than a projector setup though. In the end, it might be a weight loss of around 15 lbs once you get your new setup in there.svairman wrote:Increased airflow into the engine bay and some slight weight reduction? I agree, it's not something I would do personally but it looks really good if done up right.simmode1 wrote:I think, rather than saying this conversion reminds me of a Camaro or Mustang, I like to think that it reminds me of a more modern, more sleek, more aggressive and more pimp Z31...
Meh... why not? If you've got the money and the fabricating skills. If you're asking will it be bolt-on or easy... probably not.danmansil80 wrote:wait can you use the z31 lights on an s13??
yeah thats pretty much what i ment... damn it would be sick if it was just bolt-on.hahasimmode1 wrote:
