You're right, they do remove Porsche badges and sell cars as RUF models, but don't be fooled...the two companies work closely and exclusively with one another.

I don't like AIM, I'm never on it, but to briefly explain the RUF situation, they buy cars from Porsche, and modify them to their own specs, in cooperation with Porsche. I'm not familiar with German law, but the basics seem pretty simple. They aren't cheating, sneeking, fooling anybody. They aren't changing VIN's, chopping cars, nothing stupid or foolish.

It's basically the same with BMW and Alpina building the Z8. Lots of companies have either in-house tuning shops (AMG, Mpower, SVT, STi, TRD) and others use, or work in cooperation with outside tuning shops, or just offer cars at heavy discounts to high end tuners(RUF, Dinan, Brabus, Prodrive, Shelby, Roush, Saleen, Alpina...to name a few). These cars all get heavy media coverage, almost foolish for a car maker to say "hell no, don't mod my car, get huge media attention, draw in customers, bring more and more exposure, and get our name worldwide recognition."

Sorry for the thread-jackage..back on topic, I'm at just over 97% on GT3, and am no longer interested in 100% completion, now I just mod and tweak the handling setups to create throttle-on oversteer, and working on throttle modulation, proving all the haters calling the game "Understeer3" wrong.

I got a real quick question, when you adjust the camber, if the number goes up, is it positive camber? when you lower the number is it negative camber? it wasnt too clear on this so i dont know.

Negative camber moves the top of the tires in towards each other. In the game, I think they just use a basic numbering system starting at zero, and going up from there... not really in keeping with proper vehicle alignment doctrines. I don't think they anticipate anybody going for that old-school VW bug look where the rear tires have a great deal of positive camber, causing the rear tires to stick out in a shape like a

Make sense at all?

interesting, thanks for hte info, appreciate it, and also, i think im like 99.8percent done in gt3, and have NOTHING left to do, i dont get it, i think i read somewhere that you can't get 1oo percet, i dunno, and yes on throttle over steer is easy on gt3, just turn off TCS and ASM, and you're good to go, take a stock s15 and simulation tires and go drifting
