You can call me mehdi

I don't know if I have the funds for this and also since winter Is coming, I don't think my car could take a bigger drop than the eibachs without becoming a plower.

I hope next summer I will be able to get them!

Bro, the best part about coils is in winter you can raise the car back to stock height, and in summer slam it. Depending on the kit, you can adjust it similar to our endlinks or electronic kit where you have a control module inside the car. Looking at the price I am assuming you have to adjust it from the outside, as well as adjust the dampening as well.

I think the shocks are blisten shocks as well.

ya i believe the shocks are blistein and the best part is i think you can even go a little bit higher then stock springs if im not mistaken so you dont have to worry about being a plow.

the guys that said they would do the testing should i also include you on the list?

come on guys 5 more people minimum. where else would you find coils for 600. i know the casters included are 200 or so, shocks from blistein are about 4-500 so this is a pretty sweet deal especially if there going to be 32 way adjustable think of all the options.this is from there site for there bmw type coilsDDM Coilovers come complete with everything you need. Adjustable camber plates, racing shock mounts, springs, new front sway bar end links, just reuse your original mounting hardware.

Coilovers are 40-Way adjustable to match your level of performance driving and any spring rate you choose. Damping can be adjusted with the car on the ground. No need to lift the car to change damping rates.

All components are constructed from the highest quality materials and are anodized, plated or powder coated for a lifetime of corrosion resistance.

Please note, BMW units will have M-type front sway bar mounting points. You can utilize your stock sway bar mounting points if you prefer or purchase M-type OE or aftermarket swaybars with M-type sway bar end links (provided).

depending on when we get the 10-15+ cars (10 minimum) then we would see who is going to do the test fitting for us. believe it costs 750 to get test fitted but everyone in the gb would pitch 10-20 to cover the testers extra cash spent so it would make his price equal to everyone elses or a few less depending on how generous the members are. also take into consideration you wont find coils for any vehicle under 800 that are any good so for 600 even if we end up spending 650 after its all said and done its an insane price. i believe the money would be needed when we send the car into test fitting. the owner told me if where not happy with how the test turns out we can all get our money back. the guys at ddm are stand up guys i deal with them for alot of other parts for my retro business.

Brandon,

I'm down for the coils, I'm ready to fork over the money whenever haha. Count me in, but for the 2.5s.

If they require a 2.5s for testing, I'm up for that as well. I'm located in La Jolla.

Shoot me an e-mail or something

Is this gonna be a one time deal and they will neve make them again, or will they have them later on like next summer. I honestly don't have the funds like that to spend on springs but I really would love to do this. Let me know Brandon.

1) Why are the Sedaners always left out? Good thing I read the a/c forums instead of the sedan one.

2) I'll get these... but i'm guessing the sedan and coupe are interchangeable? And I cant fork money until December.

i sent ddm an email asking them how long they would need the test cars for and if they can give some love to the sedans aswell. hopefully the kit will be interchangeable with the 3 platforms. do we have any sedans in that area who would be willing to go for testing.

guys lets get a few more in here and get this thing filled, i remember when i first joined here everyone was asking about coilovers and now no one wants them?

Never heard of this company or reviews on these coilovers. Do they make these inhouse? Also when would it be available? (Estimated Time?) If its before November, I may be interested.

Sign me up...can you provide any more information on the company, or what type of shocks are being used? Also can DDM provide the best adjustment levels for optimal performance. I myself don't know what is the best setting, and i feel like if they are not set properly than it wont handle better. But count me in on this group buy.

To be honest its not hard to adjust them to get your desired level. it comes with 2 wrenches so you can raise or lower them. Coilovers are 32-Way adjustable to match your level of performance driving and any spring rate you choose. Damping can be adjusted with the car on the ground. No need to lift the car to change damping rates. ddm tunning is well known for apexcone hid kits which are the best on the market in my honest opinion. there kits have a failure rate of .2 and the next closest one on the market has 2%. also they come with a lifetime warranty so it kind of shows you the quality of products they put out. they sponsor alot of the bmw forums and i believe alot of there stuff is done through blistein and H&R does the springs for them and does ddm stamping on them, they do all the fitting and what not so your getting a really good product from them along with 2 of the best names in the suspension business. they do the testing inhouse and then get the parts made to spec for them by the companies i mentioned. they should be ready before november depending on how fast we can get a test car to them and enough people for the buy
