I'm getting back to you.

So my M35h worked fine for two months and a bit, and the fault returned.

I looked at the DC/DC converter, thinking the voltage was bad, 13V, nothing wrong. I continued to investigate, and as VStar650Cl pointed out, the steering wheel alignment sensor code returned. I ended up replacing and recalibrating it. The error didn't return, and the calibration works, so it was indeed faulty. I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens. I'll keep you informed.
