Well, immortality exists in your family/friends memories, that much I know. Some believe there is life after death, and some believe how you behave in this life will affect the quality of your afterlife or next life, and some believe once you die, that's it. But no one truly knows for sure what happens. I suggest you think more about appreciating, enjoying and improving the life you're living now and the lives of those around you, (including honda owners), than worrying about what happens after you die.

Hope that helps.

Interesting that you would be concerned about your material possessions, but pretty normal for someone your age - I'm guessing you're 18-25... Consider this: 20 years from now, you won't want the majority of your current "stuff" any more. 50 years from now, most of what you own would be worthless, even to a homeless bum. 100 years from now it's all garbage, and soon thereafter it's dust...

Where your treasure lies, that is where your heart is also.

I enjoy life as much as anyone. But, when it's over, I look forward to a long and enjoyable eternity with my Maker. Certainly not difficult to attain, and probably 100% less weird than any of the other "after-death" scenarios floating around out there. :D

Oh - Gotcha.

Well, if you play your cards right (and they do too) you'll get to hang out with them too. By the way, tell them how you feel - They'll be glad to hear it.

Know what I just thought of? As good as some of us on this board know each other, we may never meet (in person) this side of Heaven... When (and if) y'all get there, look for me -It'll be great times. :D

You started a cool thread, s14sr20.

Death is a weird thought because right now im not afraid of death, but its not until you think u really are gonna die does it scare you. Ill never for get that feeling from when i fliped my SE-R about 3 years ago I seriously thouht i was gonna die and was scared out of my skull.

You aren't afraid of death until you're faced with it I would believe.

Plenty of people can say "whatever, i dont care" until some random a$$ has a gun at their head or something.

There are 2 possibilities: 1. there is an afterlife, so we die, we go to wherever it is we go to, and it's like being alive. No real difference there. or 2, "the lights go out". It's like being asleep. Everyone likes to sleep, and no one likes to wake up, so that would be cool too. It's a win-win. Nothing to fear. But I do agree with your frustration of loosing what you have here (friends, family, etc.) I think that would be the hardest thing about going.

I would say Iam afraid of death to a certain extent, because you dont know how much time u have left, and there are so many things I want to do before I die.

Aint no need to be affraid of death. Just the pain that comes with it. I belive there is an after life, because God told us there was. If you can't trust God, who can you trust? :D And I hope he has a since of humor, or i may need some sun screen and a water bottle.

wether i believe or not.... like someone said earlier ... either you go onto an afterlife or you just black out for eternity .. .and if you just black out you wont know the difference anyway.

the hardest part is losing the people you love.

but by that time most of them will have died also or be getting old or have their own families and they will know that it was your time .

Ref God. There is only one way to find out. And I promise we will all do that some day. Maybe I am wrong, I don't think so. But it won't be the first time, or the last.

Hey, who wants to live in this crappy world forever?

Reincarnation. I know that I do not want to live to be old and decrepit(sp?) I will do extreme things, such as skydiving, and all those sorts of things when I get to lose mobility. I will not intentionally kill myself, but I imagine I'll take more risks because I will have already lived a long and fruitful life. :)
