lol

Not a penny.

It's just all true, :thinker besides I really do hate it when members could be going to a NICO supporter and they go elsewhere for no reason other than inertia.

When i buy my next Infinti I will buy it from Infiniti Of Scottsdale, also one of our original supporters.Unless it turns out to be a Nissan then it will be from Trophy.

Fred..

lmao...if Fred is on the payroll they must be giving him mine. Actually a lot of those billboards don't belong to us...but it's nice free advertisement. Have you seen the 4-story tall Quest board downtown? That's a funny one.

quik, why so bitter? Fred is NICO #1. No one else, that I've met (save speeddoctor) goes out of their way to better this site and the community quite like Fred does. And if you'd glance over to the left...my posts are increasing on a daily basis. It's not advertising. It's having fun with people who have a similar interest as me. I'm at home now and I'm not representing Trophy or my site. I'm a father and a husband and a Nissan Enthusiast. If you don't want to ever buy anything from nwp.com that's fine...but respect Fred. He's become my friend over the past few months and he's saying good word's about me and I repay him by working my butt off to help him better the site. I WISH I had someone like Fred working with me. I might have my moderatorship pulled for this but man...you need not hate. Appreciate, Participate or vacate.

quicksilvia that is exactly why jason would be a better choice to get these parts from. that mentality you got from our parts guy is pretty much the genral attitude at most dealers. jason is willing to hunt and find these parts. and because he holds an intrest in these modifications to these cars he will be more likely to sell these parts to you at a better price then any other dealer.

BTW I was really impressed with the work in your engine bay the transformation of your car from 240 to silvia is very very clean. nice work guy. first time i have ever seen that engine first hand.

Of course. If I ever need something Nissan or related to Nissan I will of course contact Jayson first. First of all he is local, second he is a nice guy, third he is an enthusiast, fourth he supports the boards.... But if you want to just browse or look around, then Japan Parts has a superior site for that kind of stuff.

I think that Courtesy Nissan also has a better website than nissanwholesaleparts.com.

Fred, I have to agree with tinted. Courtesy's site is nicer. I'm working on it is all I can say. (if you tell anyone I said Courtesy's site is nicer I'll deny it and eat your tires.)

I haven't ordered any Nismo parts from Jayson (yet), but I've ordered some regular Nissan OE stuff. Good prices, excellent service, fast shipping and overall great experience.

When I get the $$$ to order some Nismo stuff, it will be from Trophy (Jayson).

Has everyone seen the Nismo list that was distributed a few months ago? I could host it and post a link in here if anyone is interested.

I've called and talked to Jayson numerous times. He always goes out of his way to get me near cost prices on things for my 240. Frankly I'd rather spend the extra penny to get it from someone that give's this kind of attitude towards their customers.

I'm not saying this cause he's a sponsor, I'm saying it because he has been 100% awesome to me over the phone whenever I needed to know pricing on parts, INCLUDING NISMO PARTS.

Personally, unless someone has extra $$$$$ money to spend. I dont see why Nismo is necessary, you can get the same thing if not better from manufactures like, JIC, Cusco, Kazama, Tanabe. Yea Nismo is nice, but I think they are way overrated.... Same thing as Stillen and their parts, especially theyre filters, which they buy from K&N and then just put their logo on it, or their sway bars from ST. And besides I havent seen any parts from Nismo that other manuf. do not make. Thats just my opinion.

HKS, Tomei, Greddy, JUN, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

ALL source 90% of their products from other companies.

JIC, Cusco are leagues better than Kazama in my opinion in terms of quality.

Thanks. I've cooled down some. My daughter slept all night with no waking so I'm not so tense. Sorry about the sermon.

NISMO is one of the less expensive ways to go for performance. Top Secret has headers upwards of $3K. Trust me...$1250 for a NISMO 350Z header ain't sounding so bad. $555 for the Spec is even better.

I think my next order of business is to have a Nissan rep. give a final word on the warranty aspects. The fact is there's no 240 that's still under warranty, unless they bought it in 99 and hasn't gone over the mileage, so the choice of performance mods is a matter of what gives the best power or what gives the best power in my dollar range. But for some who are blasting these newer models, warranty is something to keep in mind. With so many online parts brokers running around it IS hard to find a good one and who's to say if you have a problem with the part they don't just bail on you. If we know for a fact that NISMO won't take you outside the boundaries of a new car warranty (I don't think it does) then we can honestly advertise NISMO as a hat trick of performance parts: Affordable, Powerful and Guaranteed. Honestly, I think NISMO should be to Nissan what Vogue is to Cadillac. You shouldn't see one without the other. I back NISMO because it's got a billion dollars and 30 odd years worth of engineering behind it. It's made just for Nissan (e.g. Nissan Motorsports, International).

The defense rests your honor.

Yes, you right BUT........... most people tha are here own 240sx, and practically everything that Nismo makes for the 240, other comapnies make the same thing for much less, Take the damn strut bar , $240 for a strut bar, holy crap, Carbon Fiber isnt even that much, and I saw the Nismo bar it looks exactly like a Cusco bar with diff colors, i gotta give to Nismo for the rims, but everything for a 240 we can handle without Nismo, unless someone just wants to spend the extra buck for the LOGO.

To some people...that logo is like a badge of honor. I agree that the legacy parts for the SX's and early Z's are priced high but it's only because the price of a part won't change if the part is still new. I have this conversation everyday with my customers. I wish I could petition to have it changed but I can't. That's why I haggle with parts companies more than I ever haggled with a new car customer.

I mean, dont get me wrong I love Nismo parts, If i was making alot of money I probably would buy only Nismo, parts but for now its just a little too much for a buck, when you can get the same parts for less. When I was working before getting laid off, I almost purchased Nismo Sway bars, but not since im out of work I think Tanabe will do just the same.

here here...I concur. And don't get me wrong. I'm compiling a list of as many aftermarket performance parts as I can get my hands on and that's what will be on my new site. NISMO will have it's own page.
