dealerships going to carry nismo parts

i went to my dealership today, cuz the techs wanted to see the sr, and one of the guys said that they are going to start carrying some nismo parts, mostly for the 350, but by next year they should carry most of the stuff for most cars. has anyone else heard of this?

They started a while ago.. I saw the dealer catalog and as you said most of the stuff is for the Z.

You can find most of stuff already on courtesyparts, but if you dont want to wait just go to japanparts.com

well i know the toyota carries TRD part right there in the dealership, i went there one day looking for a job they had a whole section with cataloges and in stock parts, but yeah thats cool about nissan. The only bad thing is you knwo they are gonna cost twice as much for them at the dealership oh well, i know i wouldn't mind picking up a nismo LSD

Nismo had a thing set up at the D1, and i was askin if they were gonna carry SR and KA internals, and the guy was like "uh... supposedly theyre bringing over everything released in japan for sale here"

yes...US nissan dealers should be able to get any JDM part you might need from Nissan of Japan! The dealership I work for puts out orders once a month to Nissan Jp. I dunno if it works the same at Jayson's...but I'd assume it does!:D

jayson is even getting me some hard to find stuf,f for a german Nissan dealer, that's trying to service grey market US spec Nissan/Infiniti's.

Actually, when I went to my Nissan dealership, I wanted for them to order me S14 floor mats and rain guards, they said they dont deal with Japan.

I just got wind of this thread and I can't thank Fred enough for sticking up for me.

I can't promise you guys I can get the world but I can tell you that if it can get got I can get it. If I can mark down the price, consider it done. The fact is I got chewed out from my boss last month for my profit hitting an all time low. (If you don't believe me his name is Dave Tunnell and his email address is [email protected])

I'm determined to be the best interenet parts dealer in the world. I've talked to Graham Ware, the export manager at japanparts.com, on several occasions. He sales these parts to a lot of the dealers like myself because our dealership doesn't have Nissan Japan parts coming in all the time. Sometimes, such as the case with Stillen, we cannot get these parts at a rate that we can sale them and not be in the hole. And if you tell Stillen we're meeting their price, they'll automatically drop theirs. I've told many customers this because my number one goal is providing good customer service.

As for NISMO, the dealerships recieved a catalog of US parts available through normal shipment orders. It includes mostly items for the 350Z and Spec and some legacy parts. This is the list I circulated a couple of months ago. NISMO still produces another catalog of Japan parts that are available but since they're not US, they still carry a shipping cost. US parts do not. That is one reason we can sell them for less. I can't speak for other dealerships. I can't even speak for everyone at this dealer, but I can speak for myself. I had to get assistance to pay my rent this month. I'm not gay but I do want to help you.

I have a dealers (wholesale) account with Stillen, does that mean I can get Nismo at a wholesale price, I wasnt aware that Stillen carries Nismo products at all. Time to give them a call asap. I think im in Business.

I think you misunderstood. I don't think Stillen sales NISMO, but you can use your wholesalers status to get a discount on parts.

It wouldn't work with me because my discount is lower than wholesale. I am interested in knowing what other places are charging for their NISMO though.

Smaller dealers have a hard time stocking performance parts. The older parts guys don't want anything to do with performance parts or aftermarket.
