If you don't have a VISA or Mastercard credit card get one. If you already have one get rid of the debit card. You have much more protection on using a credit card rather than a debit card or paying by check for purchases. Read up on differences between the two.Put every purchase you make on a credit card & make sure you pay the bill in full every month on time.smockers83 wrote:Somebody did something, not to happy about it. I sent the service manager an email after trying to leave a voicemail unsuccessfully right when I got home. I just gave him a pretty specific time line of events and asked him to call me after 1 tomorrow with an explanation as to where my car has been and why nearly 200 miles were put on it since Saturday.
In hindsight, I wish I would have looked at the work order right there when I thought the odometer was high and said I wasn't leaving until it was all explained. And of course it was the first time I payed not by debit card for service so I don't have a time-dated receipt as proof of the time of pickup. Hopefully they rung it into the register and have a record of time somewhere, just in case it comes down to it that I need evidence.
Just go to ebay..... I got one for a friend for 80 bux... 100 OTD lolsmockers83 wrote:The only work done was the 11,250 mi service and the warranty work on the window. I mentioned to him that I was storing it for the winter and its on the work order, but not even that justifies driving it 200 miles. And this is the same manager that told me he was going to look for a spoiler for at cost, I don't think so anymore.
Dude...sux about your car. I'm kinda with Telcoman on this one tho...but I'd definitely get an answer, at least to ease the curiosity. Who know's....maybe if ya ***** enough, they'll hook you up with some goodiesTampa G35 Sedan 6MT wrote:

It came painted and with the light. It took about 1 hour to install. It came with all that is needed for the install... All you need is a Drill with a sharp bit.
The G's are pre wired for the spoiler light... You just have to connect the wires and then it is done.
I should have taken pictures.

But here's the thing, I didn't have them keep the car, they had to keep the car and I didn't take a loaner on this one. The work on the window was being done between the times of 3:45 and 5:30 on Tuesday and I went to pick it up afterwards. None of the service being done warranted my car being driven 190 miles. The window, all they had to do was roll it down, roll it back up a couple of times to make sure it worked and the noise was gone...its a pretty simple repair.telcoman wrote:
As for the 200 miles it seems high but when I had an intermittent problem with my Air Bag warning light, I had the dealer keep the car for a few days and put over 400 miles on their loaner. I wouldn't get too bent out of shape over 200 miles if they fixed the problem & replaced the gas that they used. Did they at least wash and vacuum you car?
I just figured out what happened. They gave your car out as a loaner.smockers83 wrote:
