It is $50.00 which includes shipping to USA and Canada

As far as install goes, it is easier than rotating your tires, but you don't have to jack up the car to install it.

All you need is a 14mm wrench, a 17mm wrench, and an allen wrench (I forgot the size). I use the ratcheting box end wrenches, and it is an easy task.

Be sure to re-tighten the strut bolts after a few trips, to make sure it is completely on.I send a niche instruction manual with them.

<falls out of his chair laughing at the instructions, in the process knocking his head on the mixer board and imprinting several strange indentations on his head>

Thanks for the laugh.

Installs in 10 minutes maybe 15-20 without air tools. But it's definitely not rocket science. Just make sure you have the right allen size.. which I forget what that was (8mm?).

THAT IS HIlarious! Can I use those in the next batch?

Seriously, I was thinking that I might have forgotten to include instructions in all of them. I got a phone call, right in the middle of adding the instrucitons to the boxes, and I guess I missed one. I will email the instructions to everyone next time. I have reduced the document size, so it can easily be emailed.

Sorry about leaving you on your own, there.!

Jeff, when you do another batch...I need two.

Just sold the 94 with 140K, the dude would not buy it without the fstb!!! Darn, don't like driving without it.

Bought a minty 96 black on black---OMG its the hottest thing I've ever seen. The 540i is wimpering.

My best,

Peter

I'm going to need two of them at some point as well... both for an Active though. So, i will need detailed retard/Ross friendly instructions for installation on the Active strut towers.

No rush... hopefully you will do another batch by summertime?

I guess I need to get back busy on these.

I just bought another Corvette to restore, so I have not done anything on the Q. The 4.11 diff is still sitting in my garage, next to the Cali Custom coils...

yes me too. I am a big believer in the strut tower brace, I have a mustang convertible that has one and if the brace for the Q works half as well it is a must have.

Was there ever a difference in the thickness or styles of the ones that have been made? I did notice different colors from different batches.

Yeah, I bought a couple Corvettes to play with, too.

2006 was a horribly busy year for me. I am glad it is over! I hope I never have to work that hard for such little money again.

I will take some time in the next week to do some measuring and test fitting of the bars I got from a new distributor. They don't look like they will work, but I have to cut one up before I can really tell. The bad part is, I have $300.00 worth of materials, and I am not sure if I can make any of it work.

I will tryo to keep you guys posted. I have everyone's email in a separate folder, and a list of all of you who have expressed an interest. When I get the kinks worked out, I will start a new thread with the details.

Jeff,

Thanks for working on this. Each time I drive the Qs they tell me to beg you for a new batch!

I was stupid to drive the old Q to the prospective buyer without taking the thing off---duh Homer.

No new news.

I just got one of the Corvettes motors back together and the car running. I have some feelers out for parts, but have not heard back from the suppliers yet.

Hang in there.
