Reading back you say the RB doesnt have a Trig unit[ignitor] since it has individual coils. The Z also has 6 individual coils but it still uses a trig unit. The ECM tells the trg unit to fire the coils, now on newer v engines the coils recieve their ignite signal directly from the ECM. This started in about 95 on the max V engine. What yr is your engine? if its pre 95 I suspect it does use a trig unit.

The Series 2 rb25 does not like the VQ30, the Series 1 does like the VE30. I have a series 2 harness.

Did you pressurize it all? From maf to intake manifold? Just curious.

When my car sits w/o starting for a couple weeks, it runs on 4 cylinders for a couple minutes, then it's fine. Otherwise it starts normally.

cold pipe to exhaust tip. I don't want to pressurized the crankcase area by pressurizing the maf pipe..
