Meet is now scheduled for September 1 2006 at 9pm, at the Rockville MD (White Flint) Dave & Busters.

The specific meeting spot is the parking lot outside of Dave & Busters (you will see the awning).

If you get there and it's raining, go down into the covered parking lot DIRECTLY BENEATH the Dave & Busters parking lot, and we'll meet down there.

BTW, I saw white kouki in Suitland on the way to lunch yesterday. It was sitting in front of a repair shop, and the windows were broken out. Dont know if it was officially for sale, but it could make a nice project for somebody...

I've been trying to get everyone together to do a photoshoot w/ all our cars for the past 4 months! So, I'll need a miracle to get them all to drive to MD!

Count me in. I'm located in NW DC. There is a weekly "car meet" that I go to in Rockville on Friday and Saturday nights and there are many Nissan owners who go there (including some nice 240s). It gets pretty popular sometimes. We could all meet there if people are interested, or maybe make it an exclusive meet up during the day. Hashiriya where are you located? Also got an S14. I actually don't have an S14 anymore, lol. I sold my '98 Silver Moss Kouki 5spd for a busted-*** S13 coupe, lol. I'm nuts!

Anyway, sounds like we've got a good group of people together here.

I'll give this thread another couple weeks to run and then we can all pick a Friday to meet in Rockville. All the NoVA people can meet in fairfax or arlington and then caravan up to Rockville together.

Then afterward we can go to Dave & Busters at White Flint and I can pwnz you all at F355 Challenge

Sounds like a great starting spot for the meets, but the fact is that the whole scene down there is illegal and without permission. We should instead arrange with Dave and Busters to hold the meet on the third floor of the White Flint parking garage right in front of the restaurant. We'll be giving them business right after anyway, so I dont see why they wouldnt agree to it.

I trust that all who would attend will not commit stupid acts like burn-outs, racing, drifting, and continuous revving of your motor. These things attract security and/or police and will probably end the meet prematurely. Thanks

I was in fact there the other night. About 5 or 6 other 240's showed up including an S13 Silvia convert, and a few SR powered ones. The police rarely do anything at all. They told us to leave the parking lot that night, and everybody just drove to the next parking lot. The only bad that could happen is if you burn out or speed. Thats basically it. Besides that, there are way too many people who show up and the police can't do anything about it besides roll around with an ugly face, so they just let it all happen. 2BN_S13 I agree on your meeting place and the fact that no stupid crap is allowd. However, once we all meet up then maybe we could roll deep into rockville and show the 240 pride.

BTW they had a Lamborghini Gallardo and an R32 Skyline (far from stock) last time i was there.

i'm one of the friends Kate mentioned, i'd definitely be interested. I don't have my car finished yet, but maybe by the end of this month. What's the idea for this meet as far as time? would this be on a weekend, like a day event kind of thing? I'd love to do some kind of cruise with some local guys as guides for a while during the day. also, what are everyones ideas as far as dates? is this an august thing or maybe early september?

I have a 96 240sx base model, saving money for the SR-power now.

I'm also from rockville/dc metro area, if there's any meet, count me in!

to Dearths240sx:I was there that night, in front of CiCi's. I didn't drive my car, but I was riding my bmx bike. that skyline looked0 smaller than I thought.

Anyway, I'm pleasantly surprised with the amount of attention this has gotten.

Now we just need to decide on a time.
