Hello everyone. I'm relatively new to the list (haven't posted much, but have been following the forum as long as time allows!). I just bought a '97 240 earlier this week! I've been corresponding with Daunttless for at least a month now, bombarding him with questions (mostly silly). Anyway, he's been more than helpful with whatever questions I've had. I just emailed him today asking him to put me on the list to have an sr swap done. As soon as I hear from him, I will be sending him a deposit!

Brian'95 se-r (intake, 2nd gen HS header, JWT s3 cams, ecu, courtesy exhaust, nx brakes...dings...for sale)'97 240 (stock, for now)

I too have emailed Dauntless relentlessly asking questions and getting quick respones. We are talking 1-2 days on any question. I have been previously screwed waiting for a JSpec engine (FE3 for all the Probe people) and know what it is like to wait forever (8 months+) for an engine. Dauntless has superb customer service and as a testament to his business practices, I will tell you a story. I couldn't find a S14 here in Indy. I looked for months upon months trying to find a 95+ 240SX. I went to the Nissan dealership, who when I arrived had an S13, but alas no S14. I told the dealer what I wanted and after trying to get me to buy a 2002 SE-R, a 1997 NA 300ZX, and a 1994 TT 300ZX, he finally got the idea that I wanted a 240SX. After months of waiting for a response from the dealer, I saw Afterdark Tuning and was interested in an SR swap after acquiring a 240. I told Dauntless of my problem and he went out and found me a great deal on a 1997 240SX, problem solved! I got the bank loan to purchase the S14, drop in a red-top, swap to a manual, and install LSD. After my past experiences in the JSpec engine game, I felt a little uneasy with sending so much money to someone I hadn't met. However, because of the customer service and the way Dauntless handles customers and non-customers alike, made my mind up. Currently, I am waiting to take ownership of my new 1997 240SX with a red-top and I cannot wait. I will be so overzealous when my car is finally done, I will run to Iowa from Indy if I have to! Sweet sweet 240 will be mine soon. That is my story and I am sticking to it. Thanks, pgt892.

Sorry, it's still dirty, it's filthy out here and there's no car wash nearby, so it would just get dirty again after we cleaned it, we just turned the water on at the building so when it's less busy around here I'll wash it myself. : )

That's not Champagne, that's Silver Moss. I have a S13 Hatch here, it's an 89 but it has a bit of rust. There's a few other S13s I can pick up, the downside is they're all 2500 dollars. And they're all pre 91. Prices suck on 240s around here. Also, the car has a black dash. I don't know about the wheels, didn't look to closely at them, and don't work with Infiniti's too much. Also, do you want us to take the black graphics off the sides? : )
