Feel free to give me your straight forward thoughts on it and if it is worth saving. The only bad rust it has is along the left side of the bottom fender and on the back someone has patched two places which is alittle rotten but other than that its just surface rust that you can sand down. I also see it was manufactured in my home country of south africa.
Thanks alot and i hope the pics show
This information is not correct. I own a 66 520 with a single headlight on each side and years ago ownned a 65 520 with a single headlight on each side.centralcoaster33 wrote:Single lights for a 65 and 66 sounds about right. Newer 520s, like late 66 and up have pairs (twins) I believe. Nothing special, rare or valuable about any of it as far as I know. It's just how they were sold those years. I think you'll have a nice D in the center of the grill for a 66. Check back later and maybe someone more into this truck has further information on this particular detail.
I like them. I say it's a neat ride and you should get it and have some fun making it nice again.
