What does she like to do from what you know so far?
hey don't pay for everything otherwise it sends a message to her that you are paying for her attention...

and if you run out she might not be into you anymore.

do something fun... like games/ outdoor activities... but get to know the girl first before anything cause if you are going to use you money you want to use it wisely.

i live the apple picking idea though.

This weekend is UNI and ISU homecoming. Thats University of Northern Iowa and Iowa State University. We will be going out and doing a litle partying together. That'll break the ice.

Agreed. My girl plays soccer. Why else would I be with her? Cause she has "a great personality"?

j/k.... in all seriousness though, the party thing sounds good. It lets you know how she acts in social settings. Also maybe you can see how she acts when she's been drinking. You can learn a thing or two about a person once you've seen them drunk....

Oh, btw, i've always gotten good results from dates when the two of you actually interact. So, that's a no go for the movies. Dinners aren't that good either since you can only talk and stuff your face. Yeah, go-karts are fun, but you can't actually talk while you're driving around. Arcades are good. Play some Airhockey or Ski-ball. I also like the haunted house idea. Who knows, maybe she'll get scared and hold on to you... Either way, INTERACTION is key. It breaks the ice. Save candle-lit dinners and long walks on the beach for later. Take it easy and have some fun.

There you have it, my 2 cents.
