My new 94 has a yucky smell inside. Its like a mixture of old perfum and pine tree hangers for the rear view.

It premeates the interior---it blows through the vents and everything.

1) where is that scent thingie? Maybe there's stuff in it. 2) what is the best deodorizing bomb?

Try putting a bag of charcoal in one of the rear footwells, after you cut the bag open lengthwise. Expose as much of the charcoal to the air as possible. Leave it in there for a week or so...This should help a lot.

That and baking soda.

For the evaporator coils, if they are coated, try the BG AC cleaner. Ultimately, might ahve to get in there and do a scrub.

Perfume and Pine tree hangars eh?

Try holding a lighter inside your car to see how flammable it is

OKAY here's what ye do. Clean teh interior...and put a potpourri in it for a while (say a day? Keep it in teh rear seats if it doesn't go away for a while). It'll smell flowery and feminine for a while...but it will smell better than the current scent setup you got going on right now. (Note: I haven't done this so I don't guarantee you 100% satisfaction)

And teh more realistic approach:

FEBREZE is your FRIEND! Hold it...Spray it...Smell it...Love it.
